    There is a castle near me that has been for sale for a long time. It started at 15m and was down to 8.9 before they apparently gave up. There are a lot of beautiful old mansions in the Berkshires, western MA. All the early railroad/oil tycoons built these places. Here's the old listing 389 Main St, Great Barrington, MA 01230 - Zillow

    Those price tags should be reversed.

    That GB property is amazing, the yard and the quality of the structures. Look at the domed piano room. The problem is location, location, location. The nearest Whole Foods is almost 50 miles and most of your neighbors will be hayseeds. An awful lot for your money, but its a birds of a feather thing for big buck properties.

    Yeah amazing gym! The house though is not all that impressive in a construction sense, I saw pics as it was being built. It is right down the street from Arnold's house, pre-divorce.

    Another incredible gym in a home also in the LA area belonged to Kevin James - Kevin James Puts Encino Home Up for Sale for $5.49 Million (House of the Day) | AOL Real Estate , the same equipment I used at a previous gym, nice stuff.

    The reason I am posting today, most of these high priced extra large homes do nothing for me, too big, they just go on and on and especially crappy style. They just don't look good. But this one has a very nice design style, the one criticism would be if they had more land detach the garage off to the side. But otherwise nice looking colors, materials, and look;

    Is it safe to assume Kevin James never utilized that gym.:D

    I kinda chuckled when I first saw it, but he is one of those guys who looks, in the words of Scotty Ferrari, fit and fat. At least when he was on TKOQ's. That show is one of the funniest in TV history. You would think the guy would want to slim down.

    Probably doesn't want to get rid of all the fat as his character on shows kinda has formed into him needing to keep the volume up. Kinda like Drew Carey still wears glasses to keep his image people know him as even though they're not actually functional (he corrected his vision and no longer needs them).

    Anyway, I like his house and Mediterranean style a lot. Pretty played out style here in FL, but it looks good imo. Warren Sapp's mansion in Winderemere (rich town west of Orlando) was recently auctioned off (bankruptcy). Again, not some high class house, but it's an NFL player designing what he probably wanted as a kid. Sells well I guess.

    The ugly incomplete $100mm mansion (75k sq ft+) for David Siegel (timeshare guy) is about 5 house down the street from his.

    I was gonna make an offer till I saw the $1,500 per month HOA fee.

    That's just crazy.

    What's really crazy is having 15 bathrooms, not to mention the 6 surplus bedrooms. That is problem with these ridiculously large homes, pointless space. No one needs that space. It does have a nice front appearance.

    Agree. You can only be in one room at a time, and usually a family has a favorite room in the house to spend time in. 15 bathrooms is crazy. Never mind keeping the place clean. Once you finish, you would have to start all over again.

    Those big entrances are just masterbation for the owners. Big gaudy staircases do nothing for me..they almost seem kinda cold, no cozy feel at all. Hotel like almost.
