Last weekend I finally decided to go to Bingo Sports, a "super car" shop in Tokyo, not too far from where I live. I had seen on there site they had a GTO Evoluzione on display, but was not too sure if it was really possible to see it or not. So I just tried, and I wasn't disappointed. I had never seen an Evoluzione before, and I have to say the machine is impressive. I always had mixed feelings about the whole look of the car, but the row feeling coming out of it was somehow appealing. Well, seeing the car "in the flesh" made me like it much, much more. I love the GTO for its simple, gentle, yet powerful lines. The Evoluzione abandons the class of the original car, but the power feeling it gains almost made me forget about that. Beautiful beast it is. I couldn't take pictures (I didn't ask, but I kind of knew what the answer would have been.), but this shop takes such nice pictures and makes them available on their site, so it's OK. I'm not sure if this was posted before or not (I may have missed a few pages on this thread, despite the fact I am following it avidly), but here you are. tF[ 288 GTO@ Evoluzione ÃÔîñBINGO SPORTS V[[http://www.bingosports.co.jp You can also have a look at some other nice cars they have. Their line up when I went there included an F40 LM, a black F40, an ex Berger F1, a yellow F50, a Veyron, a Hyuara and a Zonda, among other nice things. By the way, I was told the F1, GTO Evo and F40 LM all belonged to the shop's owner, and that they were NOT for sale. He already had offers from abroad for the Evo (I think the guy said something like 6 million Dollars), but for the moment, he refuses to sell. The car was previously in Japan, but I do not know the serial number, although I'm sure it's not very hard to find. Joe, looking forward for your book, I will buy two, one for me and one for my friend Jimmy, who let me drive his GTO 2 times for a few hours, I will never thank him enough for that!

Ah...I had no idea that particular 288 GTO was the last one! Thanks for posting the picture, Joe. Now I feel even more privileged to have seen and captured it.
The most beautiful and terrific car of the world: The Ferrari F40 I wonder if he used the world "terrific" as 99% of italians will wrongly do ("terrificante" in italian means "scary") or if he choosed his words wisely, either way he was spot on!
