Wtf that was a questionable decision. Wasn't even split. Jones face looked like a catchers mitt. Not sure how it was unanimous.

That was BS! I think that elbow to the head in the 4th change the WHOLE tempo of the match!
I really cant see ANYONE else do that to Jones. I tip my hat to Gustafsson!

Yeah..... lost faith in judging. I can see Dana paying off I if it was close. That was lame. Gust totally won that decision!!

I gave the slight edge to Jones. Gustaffson did an incredible job, but Jones was able to do enough to win it. I am sure this fight was a big wake-up call to Jones - I bet he didn't think any fighter in the division was as close to him as Gustaffson was. I bet they will give Gustaffson the winner of Teixera/Jones.

The rest of the card was highly entertaining as well, one of the best I have seen in a long time. Barao's KO was incredible. Big props to Schaub - I underestimated the guy, and he came out and delivered in a big way.

Carmont looked very good as well - he showed that he is a serious contender in the division.

I watched the AG vs Jones fight again, I have to say it was a lot closer than I first thought. I can see how they gave it to Jones. Fair Decision...

I think a lot of people were so excited about how well Gustafsson was doing, and the prospect of him winning that what Jones was doing was overlooked. Also, Jones' face certainly looked more damaged, which also probably contributed to the thought of Gustafsson having won.

Should the UFC give Gustafsson an immediate rematch because of how close it was, or should they follow through with Texeira/Jones?

No immediate rematch, Let the Texeira/Jones fight happen then if they both fight and win, let them fight again. Let AG get some momentum going before they fight again.

Didn't get to see the entire card, but Kim KO'ing Silva was spectacular. Just goes to show 1 punch changes a fight.

Shields/Maia was so so. even the jits didn't seem that impressive (to me, not saying it wasn't).

I loved the 1st two rounds of Maia/Shields. Their JJ basically nullified each other. Amazing to watch to masters in action. Started to slow down a bit from 3rd round onward. Hats off to Shields.

Palhares was quite impressive in his WW debut. He did exactly what we would have expected, but a lot quicker than what I thought. Pierce was in agony.

What the heck was up with Maldanado? Was he giving us his Anderson Silva impression with his taunting? Seriously? The guy seems impossible to KO.....

Happy to see Hamill back in action, but his conditioning was highly questionable.

Overall, a pretty lackluster card. I won't complain since it wasn't a PPV.

I agree with EVERYTHING you said. I Loved the Maia/Shields fight. So technical. I can't believe Shields out positioned Maia in BJJ!!! His stand up still SUCKS!!!!! So stiff and no head movement!

Fair. I've caught a guy in a heel hook and nearly broke his ankle (unintentionally), but released IMMEDIATELY knowing that it's a brutal move.

A person of his skill level should have known right away...it wasn't as if Pierce didn't tap or the ref didn't try to stop it...he has a history of it too.

Wow, what a sick event on Saturday! Maybe the best I have ever seen. Sanchez/Melendez was maybe the most entertaining fight I have ever seen. All the other fights were great too. If you missed it, buy the PPV replay - it is worth it.

Great fights. Melendez v Sanchez surpassed jones v Gustafson as FOTY and best fight since hendo v shogun. Cain cleaned out the division he will destroy fabricio. Lombard, Dodson, gonzaga all looked good.

Oh man, this fight between Tito and Rampage has been a running joke with me and a buddy at my office. For the past month he's been saying "Watch one of them drop out with an injury the week before the fight."

    Like clockwork!!!

Now it's going to be free on TV. I bet this was their out since the consensus was that it would NOT do well on PPV .

Decent UFC card last night. Quick, impressive KO of Munoz by Machida. It will be interesting to see how Machida will do at 185.
