If Phil & Lettuce are 'mates next year, who scores more points?

    Couldn't resist this one....

I have no idea if it will happen, but lets play the game and assume Phil is in the second Fauxtus seat next season.

Who comes out ahead at the end of the year?....

    ;)

    Cheers,
    Ian

Felipe has been making far too many mistakes this season. Qualifying will be very close between the two but the more mature Grosjean will out earn him in points consistently. Felipe still hasn't been the same since the crash IMO.

I like Massa a lot, but he's traveled for quite a while on his way down, while Lettuce seems to be heading the different direction.

Massa would be a cheap move for Lotus and I think Massa would be ok with their financial uncertainty. The Hulk deal isn't going through due to $$$$ questions and I'm sure Hulk wants a fortune.

I think Hulk(s' management) need to take a look at the economic climate and get real with themselves. They asking for money which isn't there. All the big money slots have been taken (Red Bull, Ferrari and Mercedes). Mclaren isn't paying that high, everyone knows the financials at Lotus aren't great. There's 2 teams he can realistically go too and that's Lotus and Mclaren. Others might give him more but their performances are likely worse (force india will remain a question mark, they're either hero or zero). It's incredibly though to get into F1 these days and they're on the express way of managing him out for good.

+1 I completely agree. Ultimately he needs to decide if he wants to get into a car which may one day give him a chance at getting into an even better car. Once he's a multiple race winner or clearly capable of being a multiple race winner and he has several teams after him then he can try and dig in for the $$$.

Agreed. Go to Lotus for a decent salary then move on to McLaren or Ferrari in a few years to make the big bucks if you do great there.

If it´s the Grosjean of late, Grosjean will have the upper hand easily. If it´s the Grosjean of 2012, it´s going to be a good fight and a big spare parts invoice.

Romain is faster, but he'll have to keep his nose clean. Phil is slower but more reliable.....toss a coin IMHO....

I voted Massa. Maybe with less pressure, he might be able to perform better.

Lettuce would eat Massa for lunch, the only Lettuce Massa would eat would be in his salad for lunch, Lettuce on the rise, Massa on the decline now

Some inappropriate salad metaphors come to mind. But I won't post them or I have to self ban.

I think new scenery for Massa may really help...I'll take him for the win. Lettuce crashes too often...everyone here is extrapolating 4 good races into a new trend, nto enough for me, Spa last year isn't so far behind us

Im not a fan of the chap, but he has more than impressed this year. He's grown up a lot since last year, and with the tire change he has been quicker than Kimi in qualifying. On Sundays Kimi is quicker once he gets heat in the tires but Lettuce boy hasn't been making many mistakes.

He's always been quick but accident prone (especially last year). In GP2 he was on a different level than others most of the time.
