Does that car have a Crema leather interior, in which case she could be living in France now, right? Rgds
No, brown leather, my 85 QV GTS -see this picture- is now residing in France in -hopefully- good hands ;-)) Frank Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thanks; I know of a Belgian 308 GTS QV that has been imported in France this spring, but with a crema interior, and was wondering if it could be the same car... Rgds
Could be mine... sold to a nice person who drove it from Pozzi in Paris (where it was checked for the French immatriculation) to his house in south west France... . Hope he is enjoying it ! Cheers, Frank
I guess that if it is yours, you will then recognise her; and if it is indeed her, she is in safe and caring hands; and yes, he is enjoying it. Ma Mienne ! Ma 308 Gts Qv - Ferrari 308 GT4 - 308 - 328 - Mondial - Ferrarista - Ferrari Owners Only Rgds
Yes, that's my ex ;-) Good to hear Laurent is enjoying her ! I made sure that the car was as good as possible in original condition (with 16" wheels!). It did have the Hill Engineering steering wheel spacer to make life more confortable... . Fr. Thanks for the link ! P.S. this is the 'infamous' COC that the French authorities were not accepting, although valid in Belgium.... Welcome to Europe ! And now back to the nice pictures of Ferraris... wow- is that your photo? If so great shot and amazing lighting. I want a garage like that! though most garages in europe are twice as old as our country but beautiful nonetheless.
According to the bumper it's a series 2. The series one has the bumper without the blocks and the city lights placed onto the bumper.
Correct! It's a 1970 series 2 - lovely car! We also have a -66 GT Veloce (not mine) and a -69 Giulia super in the same garage - the Giulia will be converted to a race car when time permits
Thank you! I acquired the car 8 years ago from Peter Sweeney at Forza Motor Sports in Connecticut when I was going to buy a white 1984 GTB which was already sold that morning, and my future car was sitting in his showroom. I had no idea what it was at first, and I thought it was a weekend race car or something. The car came with a huge book showing its unique construction at the factory, and the original owner was John Scobiletti Jr., a Patent Attorney for Bendix Brakes who had a relationship with Enzo and was a friend of the factory. He past away with ten Ferrari's including a 246 and a F40. Another F-Chatter told me that Mr. Scobiletti had helped a family relation of Enzo's in America, and that was how he became a friend of the factory. I have a letter from that F-Chatter explaining this as they were apparently neighbors. I just love the car, and it currently has 31,000 miles on it, 10,000 which were driven by me! I will post some pictures and documents from the book after the weekend. Thanks again...
