    Well, that may depend on the car. Some indies don't have the equipment for the newer cars.

    Regardless, I'd start with Bill Fulkrod at Speed Works in Osteen.

    I'm not for hire, but I wouldn't mind swinging by FoCF and giving you a first person report on condition and anything that looks out of sorts. It won't take the place of a PPI, but may be worth doing to make sure the "on the surface" condition meets your expectations.

    Yeah, I'll second for speed works and Bill. It's pretty close by, perhaps 30 miles away or so.

    Nice choice! Then Bill is most definitely the one for a PPI, and any maintenance as well. He did the timing belt service on my 3.2 Coupe along with a few other things.

    The guys at the dealership are great and very fair. Why wouldn't you take it to Dave watterson at the dealer?

    I have dealt with them for years, and know and trust them completely.

    However, since the car is at their dealership, I can certainly understand someone that does not have a relationship with them wanting an impartial third party opinion on a car they are selling.

    With that in mind, Speed Works would be an excellent choice.

    I deal with Ferrari of Central Florida and will vouch for them. They have helped me time and time again with advice when I needed it.

    If I was buying a Ferrari locally, I would be having them do the PPI anyways. Talk to Rocky ( service manager) and ask him his opinion. He's a straight and fair guy.
