And by Lotus, am I right in thinking it is Boullier that said that (he also happens to be Lettuce Boy's manager).

Interesting that Kimi screwed his own race by deciding not to come in earlier for tires... Or did the team 'allow' him to make that call on purpose?

A radio from kimi when he could still pit:

Kimi, "Now my tyres not very good shape, I think we should try something, I cannot get past, I lost the the brakes"

an incredible job done by the whole team, there are a number of great people on that team making it so great, and even if you don't like him, Sebastian has become a pretty amazing driver, mature beyond his years, and champion well deserved!

    congrats Sebastian & Redbull!!

The Lotus Team management strike me as unprofessional.

    All the best,

(forgive me if this has been discussed... didn't read the entire thread...)

I watched the race DVR'd from NBC.

During race coverage, did Matchett / Hobbs / Diffey deliberately ignore the fact that Alonso needed to finish second or better for Vettel not to clinch the WDC to create false excitement?

The false tension for winning the WDC at the end was tiresome. Alonso had no chance of finishing second when there were 20 laps to go...

    More Kimi:

"I did the first 20 laps with hardly any brakes on the car. They overheated massively and every time I got close to somebody I lost the brakes.
In the end we lost the tyres too. It's very disappointing."

"It's normal to move out of the way, but you can't do it in a fast corner,"

    Correct, but off point.

If Alonso didn't finish second,... Vettel needed no points to clinch. Vettel's thirst or car failure of any sort didn't matter.

Yea, I know...I should have typed out the scenario a bit more...Romain takes out Kimi and himself...blah blah blah...and finally...Massa ordered to pit from the lead so FA can move from third to second...Sutil does donuts to celebrate win...in the excitement Vijay Mallya pays off Bernie...next year there are 20 GPs of India. :D
