Seems a little high given it is a 2011 and lightly optioned. Pick it up for $250K and it's a deal. If you have a $269K budget you can get a 2012 and maybe even the right deal on a 2013.

I would say if it was loaded with options the price would be on point but like he said, go for a 2012 or 2013 at the price they are asking.

wow...I am surprised to hear you say "lightly optioned"...I have the build sheet and it has all the usually goodies like AFS, front/rear parking assist, backup camera, naviradio, sat radio, pit speed (cruise control)...and much more. true, it does not have all the carbon fiber stuff on interior. I still thought the price was high, but thought it was well-equipped. Thanks for the comments.

I would estimate the sticker on that to be $265K - 275K. A well optioned car with some CF goodies is about $290k-300k. A highly optioned car is about $320K sticker.

The car in West Palm does not have LEDs on the steering wheel. IMO, that is a very important option and really affects the driving experience.

+1. When I was searching 458's I passed on cars without the LED wheel. 9k rpm with the leds lit up, well it is just unreal, enough said :)

I wouldn't say this car is lightly optioned at all. It actually has a lot. Only missed carbon bits.

I view the discussion differently. It only matter what the MSRP was and then its up to op to decide if the price is right. Most of us agree regarding led lights, cf, etc., but when pricing, the bottom line is MSRP and then an apples and apples comparison to the market place. Best

Guys...I just found out the MSRP on this car was $281,482... so it is not a lightly equipped car. Considering the very low mileage, what might a good ballpark price range be? I am NOT hung up on just buying THIS specific car.

    Thanks...

Low miles and color are key on this 458- $250k is about as much as I'd pay considering the fall price drop and lack of carbon interior bits, alcantera and other options. I saw 30k of just interior carbon options on my 2010 458 sticker

Thanks all for your comments and details. I have searched for a 2012 but cannot find any optioned the same as the 2011...with the exception of all the CF options.

Is the warranty 2yrs or 3yrs??? Have read many posts and they seem to contradict. I know the maintence policy is different for 2012 and later. Just concerned with the basic warranty.

    Thanks again...

Winter is coming and new listings pop up all the time. If I were you I would wait and get a 2012, that is what I did. Why? More warranty, 7 year maintenance.

What exactly are you looking for in a perfect world with a 458 Italia? Do you want full carbon fiber? Is super low miles what you are after (hence the 2011 example)

First, I would like a model equipped like the 2011...but any CF would be even nicer. Low miles is a plus. The 2012 makes sense if I can find the JBL, back up camera, and pit speed (cruise control)....and super low miles like the 2011.

interesting, I didn't want the LEDs on the sterring wheel. I like listening to the engine for shifting queues and didn't care for it's aesthetic.

You can shut the LEDs off.
