Couldn't there be more than 1 mod? Perhaps 1 from Ontario and 1 from Quebec? Also, can you elaborate on the requirements/tasks/benefits/duties of being a mod?
I believe this is mod for the Canada section, not just La Belle Province and the Leaf fans. And +1 on elaborating on the role of mod. Also enlighten us Vasco on public appearances, TV interviews, as well as shaking babies and kissing hands.

Yes, I know it's for Canada but let's be honest. The Ontario section is probably the busiest followed by the Quebec section so it would make sense that if there were 2 mods you'd pick one from Ontario and 1 from Quebec. I have no issues with the other provinces and if the absolute best candidate is from another province that would be absolutely fine.
I think you have a good point but what about the other provincial sections and all the car, service, dealer, event and technical portions of the Canada section? And of course the glue that keeps our section together like the Girl Guide cookie thread and the Lets make prosciutto thread?! So perhaps a Quebec, Outaouais and everything east coast for one and Ontario and everything West, and jointly look after the food, event and tech stuff. I'm originally from Alberta so have familarity with the Prairies and BC. And if Canada ever gets their own Backroom Lounge thread, it MUST be Bernie's turf. Chris
Having multiple mods is not gonna happen. We have a hard enough time uniting provinces to chat as it is and this would just make it worse. I don't like that. This 'job' is really not that hard and this section doesn't have much work. There are issues from time to time but there is lots of support behind the scenes. It is also very rewarding and can be fun. Remember, I also do the Euro section as well as Lamborghini. Not a problem.

I think we are fortunate to have three great guys crazy enough to take on this new role. My .02 is that you can't go wrong with any of them, Vasco.
Hey Vasco, same here.....It would be an honor...unfortunately I cannot dedicate enough time to do a good job.....I am sure there are great guys who can do a better job.....hopefully they put their names in.
I would love to do it and I'm committed 100% to take it seriously and I am not taking myself out of the running but I highly doubt Rob would accept me. If I don't get it I would definetly back Gary thedoc cause he's an amazing guy, great contributor to fchat and a real italian car nut. No offense to the others in the running, I'm sure everyone is good but Gary's DA MAN'
