Not sure how it became generally believed that matte silver is hard to take care of. Quite the opposite. First photo below is right after a wash and application of Dr. Beasley's matte paint protector. The protector goes on when the car is still wet and effectively dries the car is you wipe. Not much more effort than hand drying. No streaks or spots.

"Matte" is really a misnomer as it is more like "satin silver".

Second photo: who says winglets are exclusive to 458S? :) Apparently these contribute rear downforce.

Last photo: call it the honeymoon phase, but I appreciate the details like this well integrated third brake light that disappears at the edges, and also from view at certain angles. Not some after-thought appendage.

(Same can't be said for the Sat Radio antenna though).

Love the power of this car!

She is a little quiet at low RPM though... A common complaint I think of modern Ferraris and due to noise regulations.

Why don't you have installed a capristo device to open and close the valves to make it sound angrier in low rpms?

The matte silver looks absolutely phenomenal!!

How much does it cost? ($50K?)

Yes I am thinking about doing the capistro.

Matte silver was about just over half that.
