Great, can't wait to hear the results. Does the manufacturer claim any particular power gains?

Best sounding system on the market. Nothing even comes close, not even a Capristo or Kreissieg.

The manufacturer doesn't claim any gains and to my knowledge, no one had done a comparison between the two.

I have a remote for the OEM bypass valves and while the sound level is tolerable when they're open, the drone around 3000 rpm makes my head hurt really fast.

Would this be louder than running with the OEM valves open, and does it fix the drone issue of the OEM exhaust with open valves?

I assume you will lose the OEM bypass values when this is installed?

How loud is it with an OEM unit with valves open? I ask only because I am not sure I want an exhaust that's too quiet either. I can appreciate no droning, but I would prefer to stay on the loud side. Case in point, I had a Capristo Twin Sound on my 360 and drove that thing in the loud mode all the time.

I agree,My scud has the valves open and is not too loud even at 7K,lol. I want something that is loud at the lower RPMs 2-5K and increases as the RPMs rise to a F1 scream.
Is the S-Line as loud as an OEM exhaust with the valves open at lower RPMs?

I've heard Simon's Scud with his S line and it SCREAMS!!

My 16M is unplugged as well and even with the top down I think it's fine (wife doesn't complain either).
There is drone below 3000 RPM but I rarely drive it in that range.

I think the S Line is as loud and more higher pitched than the OEM with valves open.
I'll let you know next week :)

It's loud by most peoples standards, but not too loud. It's just the midrange drone that's the real dealbreaker with running the valves open all the time, for me at least.

I agree with OEBB - the valve open 'loudness' was a drone or something at 5k RPM that made it to where you can't talk in the car. This thing screams like a banshee now, but it's more 'refined' somehow...like no drone, you can carry on a conversation in the car - but it's still wailing out the back end like an F1 car.

Okay - S-Line is game for a group buy for the holidays. I think we need at least 4 and a max of 8 in order to get them done by the 10-15th and out the door to everyone. I already got a couple PMs and will set up the site to take the orders on the S-Line page this weekend. Thinking of giving a few options at different price scale (as each of these options take more time and cost more via the 3rd party doing the coating or polishing) - raw stainless, ceramic coated, and polished.
I am asking Dave about pricing on titanium pipe as well, just cause I am curious and think it would look cool all colored out from the heat...but I assume it's horrifically expensive and unreasonable. Regardless, I'll let y'all know what that looks like once I find out.
I guess I should start a new thread for the GB once it's set up?

What is, in everyone's opinion, the best option as far as performance of the pipe? Is the stock scud exhaust raw stainless.?
