Ive been to Michael Dingman's house is socal (or one he had in the late 80's) and he had wooden floors in the garage. It helps when you have a mechanic on call 24/7.

Put the Ferrari and Mini into the new Garage for the Winter. Took what is probably the final drive for the season last Sunday. Cool but nice weather. Nice to get the car out of the rental garage and into my own. No more driving into town to work on the car. Can't believe how big the Mini looks next to the 355. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Is this picture photoshopped??? The Mini looks to be the size of a small SUV. BTW, Awesome garage!!! I like the idea of track lighting in the garage. I may need to do this...

I am thinking of installing a couple of lifts. Roughly speaking, how high do your ceilings need to be?
I know! The mini looks HUGE next to the 355. Photo right off of my iPhone. Sorry no track lighting but all LED fixtures. Epoxy floor, cabinets courtesy of Menards and tool chests from Costco. Still have a few more additions, looking at a bendpak lift and SS workbench. Using off-peak electric heat. Originally an uninsulated section of the barn I had converted. Hope to run fiberoptic next spring for internet and mount a flat panel where the Ferrari flag currently resides.
Thanks - here are a few more - beautiful time of the year but winter is coming Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
That too Thanks. We'll have a more accurate completion date next week but it looks like Dec or Jan. Fingers crossed the car will be here sooner.
