If they started with a beat up rust bucket, then fine. I don't care for this result though.

looks kit car like, I think they were trying to modernize it's appearance?!

    Why why why?

These cars are becoming blue chip to me. It literally hurts to see this.

Most Pantera's are butchered up, but that one is off the charts. Should have started with a Fiero chassis. Same result. Good luck when it comes time to sell.

they built it specially for the SEMA show, but in my opinion, they could have done SO much better, to modify it in a way that showed off the original design, and avoided the lousy mirrors, tail lights and front end modifications ....sadly this car was actually in really decent condition before they started hacking on it

Having just seen this car in person two days ago, I can say this car is far from being "hacked".

The Ring Borthers once again have shown their expertise and talent in an incredible build for the Royal Purple booth at SEMA, and I for one would be proud to be seen driving around in this car.

obviously "hacked" means the car's been cut and changed from original, which is exactly what's been done

however, the point isn't about the quality of work done, but the appearance ...i'm sure it might well be a very well crafted, and yet now ugly Pantera

I agree with you Jeremy. There are a couple of neat things done but overall it appearance has worsened. It is kind of like the old Pantera trying to be modernized, meets the Ford GT/GT40, meets Frankenstein. We will not even get into what they did to the interior. :(

You can't "Modernize" that car Thats like trying to modernize the Countach. It will be compromised in a horrific way.

I glanced at it walking past but there was a steady crowd around the car most of the show.

Not to my taste at all since they started with one of the best looking cars ever...

Why is this in the American Muscle section?

Regardless of the mods, the car was still originally produced in Modena.
