    It's funny, but aside from they're being Pateks, there is nothing special about either of them to me. They look like they could be Timex watches. Very plain, just special in that they are Pateks.

    I like them both, but am with damian on preferring B. Keep in mind that both are relatively small in diameter (36mm and 38mm). I'm a relatively big guy and prefer something around 40mm, like my 5164A. That said, they're both really handsome pieces. Enjoy whichever you treat yourself to!

    I'm partial to dauphin hands and stick markers, which I think of as the signature Patek Calatrava mid-century minimalist look. Like the 3411.

    At Basel 2012 they introduced the 5123, which continues in the same tradition but has an intriguing case design.

    Better off with an automatic instead of a manual wind. $25K will present some decent options. The Nautilus is real hot right now.
