Just got my first Ferrari about a month ago. Dino 1978 308 GT4 It is a daily driver. I have owned a lot of cars but this is by far the most exiting and fun car so far. It's great to see other people's cars. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

I always liked the GT4; in fact, the first Ferrari I ever drove was a GT4, and I thought it was like a 5/4 scale Lotus Europa TC (a compliment, by the way!): much better built, faster, bigger, but with all that "alive" feeling. Those who deride its looks are, IMHO, out to lunch. Some of those colors are stunning, particularly the blues and that green metallic one in Manhattan. Are GT4s suitable for daily driving as my Mondial 3.2 is?
Simple answer: Yes. They are not as comfortable as a Mondial, but they can certainly stand being driven every day. In fact, they love it when you do that. Oh, and it has the turning circle of a super tanker, but don't let that bother you
Mine was good while it lasted! Was driven into while it was parked in the street. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Aircon, I hope you didn't see who did it. I would be in jail if someone did that to mine..... Sorry to see such a great looking car destroyed.... Hope you got back to new.
Sorry to hear this man. That hurts!!! Looks a lot like what a mechanic did to mine... All fixed again, luckily. Image Unavailable, Please Login
When you say scrapped I hope you mean it is going somewhere to be parted out. It is a shame to have that happen to such a nice car but there are still a lot of valuable parts that others could use. Let us know if you find out where the car ends up.
yes...definitely. the engine's only done 15000km (95000m) since a full rebuild and the interior is perfect. but I won't be buying the wreck. it's going to auction apparently.
Wow Those are horrible pics. Hans is that really your car? Air Con you have my sympathies too bad it can't be saved what a tragedy... Rob Image Unavailable, Please Login

Since a little more than 2 years 12252 (208 GT4) is changed from owner. Kliko (the owner) was registered in the USA but the car never went there (het took his 208GTB to the USA). Attached is a picture of the car at an Italian car show this year. Image Unavailable, Please Login
