Amen to that. Auburn is not flying under my radar. They are a darn fine football club, and getting better.

If you had told me on any day in my lifetime that Florida would be beaten by Vanderbilt, I would have been "No way".
    Well,..."way".

I'd just like to point out that my mighty University of North Texas Mean Green Eagles are in first place in the Conference USA - West and have a decent shot at winning the whole conference. We're also bowl-eligible for the first time since 2004.

Around here, this is a big deal :) Our team is generally ranked at the very bottom of the FBS.

An undefeated Baylor could easily jump Ohio St for #3 due to schedule strength. FSU's only real challenge before BCS is the ACC championship??

Ohio State only makes it to the championship if two of the unbeatens loses. Stanford only makes it if 3 of the unbeatens lose. Ore/Clem/Mo/aTM/SCar need all 4 of the unbeatens to lose (won't happen).

So the odds are the BCS championship looks like Bama-v-FSU, with Bama-v-Baylor being the next likely, then Bama-v-Ohio St.

If Bama bumbles a game then FSU-v-Baylor as first odds and FSU-v-Ohio St as the 2nd odds-on?!

Baylor still has to play Texas Tech, OK State, and Texas. All good teams. Texas is a bit of a trap game for them should they still be unbeaten. Texas will always play them tough. My guess is they lose at least one of those games.

Ohio State plays Illinois, Indiana, and Michigan. MI may be the only one to give them a challenge but I would love to be wrong. The Big 10 is a joke these days, Ohio State doesn't play anybody. Should an undefeated team against poor competition be in the BCS championship over a one-loss that has played several ranked opponents?

FSU plays Syracuse, Idaho, and Florida (and then I assume GA Tech or VA Tech in the ACC championship). So most likely undefeated and a worthy place in the BCS game.

So assuming Alabama wins out it would be Alabama and FSU. The real head-scratching happens should Alabama lose, would Ohio State get in or be overlooked for a one-loss team? I would say maybe. 2/3 of the BCS is the Coaches and Harris poll, so humans still have a big influence.

Also, the final games for Bama, Ohio State and the Noles are all away (Auburn, Michigan and UF)

Bama's facing the toughest team out of these. Bama looked solid on Saturday but Auburn is really putting some points up-and getting better each week-sounds like a tune up game for the Tide for FSU
