I am looking to buy a car hauler type trailer. I am thinking that it might be of aluminum construction and i am not sure if i want an enclosed or not, I am considering both types. I have to travel 300+ miles to get any of my special cars serviced. Any advice or opinions would be greatly appreciated.

You want to buy an enclosed trailer. Road debris can damage you car on an open trailer. I have also seen tremendous hail damage to cars on open trailers.

On the west coast most racers use TPD Trailers. Very well made.

I have been very happy with our Jimglo trailer. Manufactured in Arizona. Very well made, side door allows easy departure from the car after loading, light and the widest space between the fender wells of any trailer I could find (important with the 458). Not inexpensive. Excellent customer service.

I have photos and other details if you are interested. I have no affiliation just a happy customer.

I want to thank each of you for responding to my post. What about Trailex?
