    Great shots!

I sat in T15 as well for quali and loved it with 270mm

I read your T6 comment. Gotta try that with a longer glass someday.

I prefer Friday and Saturday as well for photography

Incredible shots Lloyd! BTW, I see your TR often near my house. I'm back in the CF neighborhood on the other side of the tracks.

I'll try to post up some of the more uncommon shots like this one.

    Randy,

I am glad you are doing well. You must have had some great seats to get all that pit action. I took the following picture of the no chair Sauber folks nose cones in action.

I got lazy this year, and didn't bring the big camera and lenses, but here are a few shots from around Austin Friday afternoon.

Fan Fest had a lot to see, and also got to drive a G-37 Infiniti on a dyno up to 147mph.

Then on to the 4 Seasons Bar where we had great scenery the year before inside and out.
On the pic of 3 guys in the bar, I was attempting to get the beauty behind in the shot. We had 11 show up for a some cocktails and gear head talk.

Last couple from Turn 19 in the Challenge Race.

    Great weekend !

I thought I recognized him running out there. Great find. Bring them along to our next event.

Here are a couple different ones. The first taken from the tower really shows the elevation changes. Second, thank you Felipe for a couple great years!

How did you get on the tower?

I thought that was for press only?

$30 to walk up the stairs. $50 to take the elevator.

How long did they let you stay?

My sister went up right before the anthem; they let you stay for 20 minutes. They were the last ones up before the start. Pictures are amazing; it has a glass floor in part of it.
    251' high....

This is sorta off topic but did anyone attend the dinner with Joe Saward? I did. I wanted to get others opinions on this.

Money... lots and lots of money. And if you pay more money, they give you a glass of champagne on the way up. About 15 -20 minutes is what they allow but what a view! Looking back at Turn 12.

I wanted to do this but they won't guarantee what time you can get up there or how long the wait is. I wanted to get up there for the start of the race.

Thanks guys. I'll have to do the tower next time.

    On a different note:

Where are the pictures of the vintage F1?

I didn't see them because we left early and the official program doesn't mention them.

I was dissapointing in the vintage cars so much that I didn't even bother showing up for the Sunday morning race. Last year I thought the challenge race was the boring race and this year I believe it was the best show.
