    I'm sure it does, but somehow I think the typical GT3 RS owner is thinking more about what it can do, rather than the effect it has on people

    No they don't get attention like Ferrari or Lamborghini ...but who cars ...these are function over form cars .

    True. Although a lot are also in colors that are not that loud. I think the point is that the car's disposition belies its intent!

    It is a USA RS and I believe it belongs in this USA collection below in homage to the 2.7 RS.

    There is another German-registered RS (seen below on the 'Ring) with the trim in a slightly lighter green hue.

    Well, I feel like the 3.8 RS was the point at which perfection was achieved, and the subsequent 4.0 was a little over-the-top in its packaging and reasoning. We have seen this happen often with car companies when an iconic model's run is coming to an end, one more 'limited edition' car is brought out just because they can. Then too, current market for the 4.0 seems to be asking twice the 3.8's values, when in fact it is a marginally better car. Those are just my personal very subjective reasons.

    Having said all that, the 4.0 is a formidable car, and this thread celebrates all GT3 RS including the 4.0.
