If Auburn should win and then the SECCG, they should still jump an undefeated FSU or OSU team imo. They already got shafted in 2004. Put either OSU and FSU in their shoes and that schedule and try to convince me they'd go undefeated...yeah right.

Oh please... FSU would walk through any schedule this year. I don't see any great dominant victories in either Auburn or Alabama's resume this year. Next you would claim if Auburn wins over Bama, and then loses to USCe or Mizzou then Bama deserves to be in the title game... If FSU and OSU are the only undefeated teams from the AQ conferences then they play for the championship. It doesn't really matter anyway, FSU would stomp either team as long as Winston is playing.

It would really be best for the SEC to save face and not play in the national championship game. The SEC is not very great this year in my opinion. Look at the preseason top 10 team from the SEC. aTm has 3 losses and could easily end with 4 after the Mizzou game next weekend. Georgia has four losses, could become 5 after playing GT. Florida has 7 losses, in all likelihood will be 8 after playing FSU. Alabama has 0 losses. So the media loves the SEC and puts 4 of them in the preseason top 10 based on last year's squads. This year's teams have done well in 25% of those cases. The other 75%, not so much. If aTm manages to squeak out a win over Mizzou the SEC east will be won by USCe which will likely lose to Clemson this weekend, making that side's winner a 3 loss team that hasn't blown out anyone except Arkansas and Coastal Carolina. Not a strong resume for the conference.

    GO CANES!!!

Murray was a heck of a quarterback. Hate to see him get hurt in a blowout.

This is why coaches should pull starters if they get up 21-0 in the first quarter.

I can see them jumping The Overrated State University but not FSU. I would like to see Auburn FSU for the Title.

I think it will, too, but it won't happen before next week. Foley wants to keep Muschamp, but I think that the Bull Gators - the alumni who provide the big bucks support - will insist on a change.

I've been a Muschamp supporter myself, but losing at home to a team that had already lost to Wofford, Samford and Furman is unacceptable by any standard, and you can't use the injuries as an excuse, since GA Southern has had plenty of injury issues themselves.

At an SEC school, the second and even third teams should be talented enough - with good coaching - to be able to beat any FCS school. There are plenty of signs that the Gators that were on the field were simply not prepared as they should have been. To surrender 429 yards on the ground (including 75 when the game was still in doubt) and not require the other team to complete even one pass shows a dreadful lack of preparation, and an inability to adjust during the game.

They will let him fire a coordinator or two before forcing him out. He should call Les Miles for advice on how to go forward, with Les guiding him I bet he gets an extension.

As an O tackle in my high school days I'm happy to see some recognition for the big uglies!

Hopefully they don't follow the Gators blocking scheme! :D

Watching UH vs SMU, looks like a home team might finally win at Reliant stadium. :D

Yep, hopefully an epic Iron Bowl makes up for a disappointing Egg Bowl. :(

Coincidentally I'm wearing an orange shirt and blue jeans so I guess my subconscious is pulling for Auburn...Roll Tigers, err War Chicken! ;) :D

FSU up 3-0 at end of 1st. Only Florida's D showed up today. Our offense is non-existent.

OSU was down 0-7, but now tied. Would be nice to see both FSU and OSU lose, but I doubt even one of them will today.

Wow, Bama is really letting this one stay close. 3 missed FGs with the last one having a late hit penalty now Auburn has a good chance to tie it if not win it with a TD and a 2pt conversion.
