just not right - anyone know was this failure to stop quickly enough, or truck backing up?

Yikes...that sucks. Hope it was the truck backing up and not the other way around.

At least it wasn't red. It would have gotten much more negative attention...

A gorgeous red 458 was heading north on Roslyn Rd, just up from 25, around 4:00PM Tuesday. Made my day.

Hey guys I'm making a trip to the Greenwich, CT and NYC area this Thanksgiving. Any places you'd recommend for spotting in these areas? Any dealers (I know of Miller Motorcars)? Thanks!!!!

There's a C&C in Mendham Sunday morning. Also a C&C at Wide World Ferrari-Maserati on Saturday morning. Both within 40 mins or so of NYC.

I see "common exotics" (430s/Gran Turismos/R8s/SLS) pretty much daily and 458s/Gallardos fairly often on Rt. 17 in North Jersey. There's always nice spots on the West Side Highway in NYC. Greenwich is a great place for spotting as well. The Merritt Parkway is always full of exotics, too.

It's hard to have find a better place for exotics than Greenwich. One of the few places you could see something truly spectacular. Hope for good weather and walk along the ave.

tboniello also mentioned the other good spots. If you're in manhattan check out some of the nicer hotels.

Also the ferrari store on park ave will have an FF, an F12 and a 458 in the window.... Usually in the rarer colors.

-- Two-tone XJ-Coupe (champagne, dark roof), heading south on Metropolitan in Williamsburg, ~11AM.

-- A "mud" color 997.2 GT3 RS, with stickers and the roll cage, on the West Side Hwy by the high 20s, around 12:30PM. (Saw him heading south by the Intrepid around 1PM.)

-- A silver 991 Turbo parked front and center at the Greenwich Porsche dealership, around 2P. The car is HUUUUUUUGE, the rims being big enough for a Raptor (Can't wait to see the GT2s!). Saw A seal gray 991 Turbo on 9 shortly after, by the Greenwich library. (Nice gray F12 parked in front of Miller's (not sure which shade.))

Red/tan F430 spider tonight in Queens heading toward Whitestone Bridge. Had a tan convertible top and a tan dashboard. Interesting.

Wow that must be brand new. I was just walking by there the other day and they had the f12' the ff and the 458 convt that have been there for a while.

C-OSU7, this isn't a dealer but a factory showroom/store. Park Ave and E55th, open to the public.

I was thinking the same thing. I'm surprised it's on public display before Miller's launch event.
