Smoke coming out of front right wheelwell

    I went for a drive this afternoon. It was a cold and rainy day and I saw smoke coming out the front right side of car, it didn't have any burning or oil smell so maybe it was just steam. But I am not sure what could be giving off steam in the front right section with most of the components in the back of the car. Anyone seen this on a cold day? It went away after about ten minutes.

    Rain water contacting a hot radiator? I have not seen it on my car but then I have not driven in the rain :)

    +1 The radiators are behind the little winglets in the front of the car: rainwater may have
    come in contact with them
    ps i dont drive in the rain either, and never will: no wipers :)

    Lol, you guys need to take your cars out more often! My car was dirty so I was hoping the rain will clean it.

    there is a radiator located in front of the RH wheel, so if you got some temp into the car that's likely it. Or, if you were really going at it, the brakes will throw off some steam if water gets to them. "steam" is normal/fine....

    Sometimes you can get debris inside the caliper and it will burn (i.e. "smoke") - on a race track bits of rubber get in there and you can tell by the smell....
