    A moron.

A couple of other out of sync images. This one the gearbox oil cooler. Interestingly Ferrari were so unconcerned with the gearbox oil temp they did not even bother to fit a temperature sensor. We are.

And on the other side, the engine oil cooler and here you can also see the air line to the jacking system, in this instance recessed to comply with road legislation.

Amazing work on my ultimate dream car....
pitty there is only about 3 F40's in South Africa.... ZERO LM versions that i know of..

i hope that at the end you could maybe give us an indication of what it has cost you to rebuild this beauty to an "almost" new state like you are doing.

    have a good day.

The 'clocking' of the compressor housing's is a semi-quick task (with turbo's removed from the manifolds) as I have performed this task myself.

Once this epic project is over, I'd happy pay for a DVD full to the brim of high-resolution images showing this vehicles journey...

I am going to do a book for myself charting the entire journey to include testing etc and will happily order copies for anyone kind enough to be interested. I could also at the same time put together a DVD.

I just need to get there first........

Just don't forget ;) who asked you first about the desire to have a record/book/documentation of your journey, ok :D? A DVD would be yet another layer of icing on the cake, dibs!!! :p

Obviously it may have already been stated somewhere in this thread, but how will this car be used?

Indeed it has but I dont blame you for not reading through 80 pages.

Maybe 20% on the road and the rest on track-no racing, those days are past.

Tim, I read this thread daily and can't remember exactly what has been covered! :)

Thanks for constantly keeping us in the loop! When you were out of town I felt lost without timely updates.

A couple additional shots from last week.

As you can see there is still much to do electrically and we are just about to begin the Motec wiring.

Currently thinking I might keep the standard recessed and covered fuseboard rather than exposed and prominent as it should be as seeing as how this car will quite often be carrying passengers, not what you would want to come into contact with if it all was to go pear shaped?
