LOL! She's been fast asleep for the winter :( But here are some glamor shots of her from the summer:

I hate how FChat doesn't allow image imbedding outside of attachments. So primitive...

The all-black grills looked too bland, IMO. It made the front end just look like something was missing, yet the stock all-chrome ones looked too "bling." So I got a little creative and took the chrome outer surrounds and joined them with the black slats for the perfect compromise (the grills are actually two piece! Slats and surrounds are separable). Ofcourse, this was before I learned I could've bought an non-V8 5 series grill as they come chrome surround + black slats from the factory... lol.

I love the e36 LTWs. I was offered one about a month ago and was thinking of picking one up to go with my 1979 M1 but I had to pass because I now totally out of space. It may still be available though.

I found it easier just to pop them out rather than masking them.

Thanks guys! What really got me is that max torque is available from 1500 rpm onwards. I've been looking for something as engaging as my old E39 M5 and I feel this is it.

Yeah, it is... Thanks! James Woods helped me out by inspecting the car and we got all the paperwork done over the past week. Next time you're in Orlando let me know and you can choose which car we go out in!

Alright, which one of you rolled the BMW up around Mulholland today (Sunday/one roll, ended up on its side)? Driver and passenger were fine, apparently. I met a couple at the pub who saw the aftermath and they'd like to offer you a proper "you suck!" ;)

What's an 2003 540 M sport with the six speed worth? I may have the chance to grab one for what I think is a great price. It has 160,000 km (100k miles), but the car is super clean. 17k in receipts..the owner has taken great care of the car. Almost everything is new. Alternator, water pump, tires( 2 sets winter and summer wheels) brakes, radiator, nice machine really. What is a good offer? I have seen prices from 5k all the way up to close to 13k..

$5k only gets you a high mileage car that's beat up.

In the past 5 months I've wholesaled two 2003 BMW 530ia sports with just over 200kms for 4-5. And they're not even 540, nor 6 speeds! And again....wholesale, not retail.

What you have is a rare car (and a nice one). With those Kms I personally wouldn't retail it for less than $9k.

Funny that prices for these in the US market seems to be much stronger then in canada.

This car is quite possibly the best one I have seen come into the shop for service. Most others are beat up pretty good. My 530 is in great shape, but needs a good clean, this one doesn't even need that!! Hopefully I can get it for a good price..fingers crossed!!

Can you divulge what the owner is asking? If you can pay in cash you may be able to chop a few $K off, good luck.

Don't really wanna say right now, as I havn't received a final price, but we have thrown around a number that is agreeable. He has to talk to his wife about it.

If the price is what we talked about, it will be a cash deal.

I think it really depends on who you sell the car to. The 540i w/ 6 speed is an awesome car.....just a step down from the E39 M5. You'll need to market to someone that either is an enthusiast (where you'll probably pay the lower end of the spectrum) or to someone looking for a 5 x speed manual sedan (someone that knows the marque, but doesn't know much maintenance the V8 can be)

I just sold my Z to a non enthusiast and got my asking price.....the best price I got from any enthusiast was several thousands below. Not necessarily because of any issues, but because of their complete knowledge of the car, the S54, etc.
