Uh, uh. The Jameis Winston case. Not looking good for the 'Noles.
Good win for the Canes yesterday but it's looking like Duke is on a roll heading into chapel hill next week. NC is a pretty tough team though and Miami, VTech and GTech are all still in it with a loss. The Noles are playing in Gville on Saturday but everybody's more interested in what's happening in Tallahassee this week
I wonder if the Gator faithful will be spewing their "Work 'em silly Gators" line this week. I can't believe Muschamp is staying in Gainesville for another year. I think that is fantastic! I'm about 35% sure of a win for Miami this week. The cold weather is not our friend historically. I think the FSU game is about a 97% lock for them to win. It has to be the highest point spread in the history of that series since I have been following college football. GO CANES!!! BT
Nothing is happening in Tally this week. Prosecutor said he won't make a decision on charges until after Thanksgiving as he wants to speak to more people.
I'll take 97% any day vs the gators! they are way off this year but hey-beating them in Gville is always welcome
Canes sticking it to Pitt in the 3rd, still firmly in ACC title game contention b/c the Duuuukies have a big game tomorrow. NC will be ready for them-
Surprised he's staying another year? I'm not...I think I mentioned it a week or two ago he would stay after his terrible losses. The reason Zook was fired mid-season was likely due to the UF President Bernie Machen (from Utah originally) wanting to recruit Urban early rather than possibly lose him if they waited til later in the season. The hiring of Urban was certainly due to Bernie and the firing of Zook likely was as well, but just done by the AD Jeremy Foley. This time, there is no replacement of that caliber and spending big money on a buyout without a replacement in mind isn't a good idea. Especially when programs like Nebraska, Texas, less likely USC now are looking for new coaches the same time. Would like to see an Alabama - OSU showdown in the BCS championship game. FSU sucks.
I would definitely say FSU does not suck. Miami played well today. Morris looked good like he did pre-injury. Go UNC / UVA!!! BT
By far that will be the most tame jeer the Noles will hear in Gville today!! It's not easy being a Gator these days-and Muschamp staying is a money move from the guys at the top. Also, he owns a beach house with Jimbo F-gotta make sure he keeps up with the payments haaaa
Dukeeeeeeeeees!!! Down by 1 in the 4th-NC with a quick chip shot. Can Duke pull it out again with 7 mins left-ACC DRAMA!!!!!
Barely made it...Duke in the ACC championship game if they can hold on. That's when you know the conference needs some help.
4th and 2 at the goal line for Michigan to tie it up...Big Ten drama now! And the Iron Bowl is on deck....this is what it's all about
It sounds crazy but you gotta give Duke some credit. I didn't see much of the game but somehow they've been winning these games. Miami is the best team on that side of the ACC but the B Devils def have some spark-I hope it goes out before next week!
Now that Jameis is cleared, we should see him play much better, LOL... I almost feel bad for the Duke Blue Devils. BT
In theory, the Noles should hang around 90 pts on the Blue Devils but I think the Dukeeees will play up for this game-they worked hard to get here- But since it is Duke I would love to see a basketball score (90 pts) just to help them feel at home...at least on one side of the scoreboard!
Posted this in the other College Football, I mean SEC, thread. My bad. Boise State's Chris Peterson headed to Washington. Can't say I blame him. Good move on his part.
Yup-there's only so much love he's going to get at Bse State-it's a big challenge for many of these programs
With WSU and UW improving, as well as the Utah schools, it was going to become tougher to recruit players to Boise. It was the right time and to a program that he can still coach to his particular style.
