The car was submerged in water? It shows signs of mold in the interior.

With Gullwing Motor Cars everything is an adventure. Easy people to sell a car to. But only the most cautious and knowledgeable should buy from them.

We've seen this before, people buy stuff from maseratistore.com and then resell them on ebay or amazon.

but it may not always be the case, some retailers have part of the Maserati watch collection as well (seen one in Abu Dhabi for example).

Good catch! It is after all a Maserati watch therefore you should expect some parts to fall off :)

And fortunately it's the day hand.
It's best not to keep track of how many days it takes when repairing your Maserati.

Full six figure restoration project but it all appears to be there. It's a 30k right now and the reserve is not met, I cannot imagine much more for a car needing a solid $100k+ restoration.

Someone's going to pay it. Hopefully it isn't purchased and then NOT restored when the buyer finds out what they got themselves into.....

Just have a look at that engine ...

"A company out of Argentina is selling very similar replicas (but with a maserati engine) for $150,000. A little work and this car could easily fetch close to $100,000 at auction."

I remember the gentleman who made that body posting pictures here a few years back. I wish I had his sheet-metal forming skills, but with all that work would have followed the original shape closer.
Let me not get started on the mechanicals.

    Best,

    Jack.

I think that photo has been posted somewhere on this forum before. Nobody can forget that image. It is worth buying just to save it....
This is why some people should not be sold certain cars, what a shame it was done in the first place....
