I think that Grigio Ingrid would look good with a Bordeaux interior. Agreed, however, that it's a bit too tame for a car like a 360. It would look wonderful on a Maranello or, if it had been around in earlier times, it would have been a great choice on a Lusso. I think that the two-tone interior combination of this particular 360 Spider is a rather unfortunate choice, especially with the Grigio Ingrid exterior. Fred

I think that the interior cuoio/sabbia combo goes very well with grigio ingrid. I should, since that's what I have on the 456M I've had for the past 6 years. However, I must admit that it works a lot better on a V12 GT than on a mid-engined sports car. I don't like dark interiors generally, so regardless of the car, I wouldn't choose a nero or blu scuro interior.

I love all Ferrari's with a story to tell, Grigio Ingrid is one. For those who don't yet know:

    375 MM "Ingrid Bergman"

Carrozzeria Scaglietti was commissioned by director Roberto Rossellini to build a one-off version of the 375 MM with custom bodywork for his wife, actress Ingrid Bergman. (See picture) This design later became the inspiration for the car which would be named after Scaglietti himself, the Ferrari 612. The colour chosen for the vehicle was not available with other Ferrari models. It was later made available for all production Ferraris under the name "Grigio Ingrid."

Ingrid Bergmann was a Swedish actrice who played Ilsa in the movie Casablaca (1942) with Humphrey Bogart.

With this story in mind the color has that extra touch. I do like it actually, the interior however.... No. The pictures of the 458 above are absolutely amazing! this should be my next F...

    1. I like the color. I recently looked at a Maserati Quattroport 2014 in that color, they call it champaign or something I think.
    2. On a 360 it just does not fit the curves and style IMO. Very subjective

    3. If you are questioning it then you should pass on it. When you fall in love, the love is never questioned.

I'd be tempted, but my wife thinks that having even one Ferrari is kind of ostentatious :D

Not for me at least not on a mid engine Ferrari .... I like the interior but again it is all better suited to a different car IMO

Trent (post 34), ironic. I traded my grigio ingrid maserati coupe gt in when i bought my grigio ingrid 360. The dealers parked them side by side and took a bunch of pix.

Was the Masi actually Grigio Ingrid or was it Quarzo Dolomite? Asking because I didn't know they offered Grigio Ingrid.

I think it looks awesome on that car... not so much on something like a 360 or 430, etc. Just doesn't seem to "fit".

Although I do recall seeing a pic of a 355 in that color & it really worked.

After seeing it on a 355 in the FoBH showroom under fluorescent lighting, I ordered my 2nd 550 in Grigio Ingrid. They told me at that time that I was the first to order a 550 in that color in NA. I also added the FHP early on in the process. It certainly was beautiful but not bad ass like the black or titanium ones.

In another thread I posited the theory that the larger the car, the more subtle the color should be. So, for example, rosso corsa would be optimal for a little Fiat or Alfa, rosso micalizatto for a 458 and rosso barchetta or monza for an FF. I think the same would hold true for the grigios.

As said before: May suit a GT but not a mid engined car.

Not a color I'd personally choose on my Ferrari, or any other car in my garage.

But, to each his own. Probably harder to resell.

With me it's the opposite, I love the exterior color, but not the dash & steering wheel color.
    I prefer a black dash/steering wheel.
