I looked back and would change it up a bit. Interesting how just a few years will get me thinking something else and not necessarily replacing it with a newer model that just came out.

I love Zs and that Datsun sounds cool. I would love not only that, but to make my 350Z powered by the VR38DETT GTR motor and AWD. :)

I have another 5 or 10 that could easily be swapped into my list depending on my mood. (Exige, E30 M3, SE30 Diablo, 360 CS, GT3 RS, 512 Boxer, etc..) There are a ton of cars that I would love to own. For me, the key would be variety. I never really understand people that have a garage full of muscle cars that are so similar.

Not much has changed in 7 years for me. I would let the RS6 drop off the list and put the Vector Avtec WX-3 coupe in the #2 spot. I would also settle for a W8 if need be.

Yeah, I don't 'get' some muscle car collections either, but it's probably more about collecting the cars from childhood and young adulthood than the differences in their driving style.

My original 5 list was like 3 or 4 race cars, haha. Here is a more realistic list minus the McLaren F1 LM.

    1) Nissan 350Z (my current car, but would like the VR38DETT GTR drivetrain including AWD)
    2) Porsche 993 Targa with Turbo S drivetrain and body
    3) BMW F11 Touring with M5 body and drivetrain - Velvet blue on opal white interior with 6-speed manual tranny.
    4) Defender 130 with 5-door conversion (not the pickup/tailgate that is normally the 130)
    5) McLaren F1 LM

The first 4 are attainable (well, needs to be fabricated, but do-able) while the last is not. Maybe would get something like a Carrera GT or more track-like car in place that actually is available for sale and not $1mm+.

As with others, I had to try it again, to see how much my "wants" have changed:

    1. Pagani Zonda F Clubsport
    2. Bowler Nemesis EXR S
    3. Ken Block's Fiesta
    4. Ferrari 430 Scuderia Spider 16M
    5. Porsche 997 GT3 RS 4.0

    Yup. That's a significant change!

So difficult, but let us start with:

    1- Acura NSX ( which variant, tough, original 3,0L, 3,0L Type R, T 3,2L or even one of the 2 GT1 ... Definately not a 3,0L T, or 2002+ Pop up lights mandatory! )
    2- Mc Laren F1
    3- Porsche 917
    4- Lamborghini Diablo SE30
    5- Lamborghini Countach LP400 S1

    or 6- Ford GT40 MkII
    or 7- ATS 2500GT
    or 8- Ferrari 288 GTO

    To be continued ...

Must also have rear midengine 2+2

9- Ferrari Mondial 3,2 Coupé or T Coupé

Glad to see the NSX get mentioned a couple of times - i have a couple myself. Its a great drivers car. Obviously the "no objects" component of this list makes me leave off other cars that i would still have on the side. I can say that the 91-94 coupes are my preference though i would grab a 97-2001 coupe (these were occasionally special ordered) as my top pick (since theres no type r in the USA).

Given HK is RHD, a lot of hypercars are not an option.

    My current list would be:

MB S-Class (Chauffeur & practical use)
    458 Spider (DD)
    997 GT3 Mk2 (Spirited driving & light track use)
    964 3.6 Turbo S non slantnose
    Pagani Huayra

A few others that I would like to include in this, but I feel like this covers it.

    2007 Subaru WRX STi
    - The car that I feel defines the entire STi/WRX line.
    Ariel Atom
-The most insane car I have yet to ride in.
    2005 NSX-T
    - I have a serious soft spot for NSX's.
    2012 911 GT3
    - I love horizontally opposed engines. I also love raw cars. This covers both.
    Aventador Roadster
    - Because why not? A car that screams is always fun.

LOL that's funny I would also have a 275 GTB and an E63s AMG Wagon.
    Besides those:

    - Challenge Stradale
    - 3 pedal F430 Spider
    - LaFerrari
