Car for car, prices in the UK and Europe are higher than in the US. Part of this is due to the terrible condition of the dollar. The irony is that there always seems to be an abundance GT4s for sale over there, and they are almost all significantly superior to cars available here.
Perhaps the Europeans know a good car when they drive one and aren't all wrapped up in looks, maybe Magnum wasn't as big there.
They don't as readily abandon, as we tend to, models that are perceived as unpopular or currently out of favor. And they seem to be 'way more clued in to, "Well, I can afford the car, but will I be able to afford the insurance, maintenance, service, repairs...not to mention the occasional inconvenience and relative lack of comfort" than Americans seem to be. As they say, "If you can't afford an expensive Ferrari you damned sure can't afford a cheap one." Many countries, like the UK and Germany, require periodic safety inspections that are far more than just checking for bald tires and worn brake pads. People have to keep their vehicles in top condition just to keep them on the roads. I used to be opposed to such inspections, but when I see the junk driving all around me it makes me think twice about it.
As someone who spends 4 weeks a year in London, sadly, the prices are mostly about exchange rates, not some higher perceived value. Often, things cost in pounds there, the same as dollars here. I bought a Belstaff Jacket there for $1,800 pounds and it was $2,000 USD here. So, at a - then - exchange rate of $1.55, more there. Today, the rate is at a 12 month high, so looks worse than ever. And, of course, it also depends on the car. Ferraris are rare everywhere, and priced as such. Contrasting that, even with the exchange rates, I can buy a Defender 90 there and bring it here for FAR less than the $50,000+ a decent 1997 D90 costs here.

Well there is a good reason for that, there really aren't any good ones for sale. Most of what you see for sale are dogs. Noce ones aren't for sale very often. Probably cause the owners can't get a half of what they are. Or they sell by word of mouth and through the club's. Ask Strictlyferrari how much for one of his restored cars. I could guess the price will be closer to 100k than not.
So probably less than GTB/GTS pricing for sure? I sure would like to trade mine for a GTS...and grow a mustache. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

A client of mine bought the light blue one that FJ was selling last year, & he paid slightly more than the top of your stated range. It's a fantastic car, & he really likes it. 1975 Ferrari 308 GT/4 I looked for about a year before that car came up, & I haven't seen a comparable car for sale in the US since, although I haven't been paying close attention to the market since then either. However, I need to start paying attention again. I have another client who wants one of these. He went for a ride in the car referenced above, & he is smitten. I haven't done much looking lately, & when I started looking, I didn't see anything I though he'd be interested in. I was hoping to find some good news in this thread. Like client #1, this guy would prefer a 1st series car in a color other than red. However, condition is king. He wants a top-flight car, & he understands that he'll have to pay a premium to get it. You'll have to build one and you'll have much more than that into it. Color is irrelevant if you want a real nice car. Red's not bad. It wasn't my first choice but the car I bought was original and very nice. It came from Fantasy Junction, also. That was a great car Mike and good price at the time. Hope he is enjoying it, I was heading over to FJ that weekend it was sold to have a go at it.
Yep; my client & I had our eye on that car back when FJ sold it on behalf of Donald Osborne, but we didn't move quick enough. He also has a 330 GTC, & I worry more about something happening to the GT4 than I do the GTC. No lack of nice GTC's on the market, but I'm having a hell of a time finding another GT4 like this one. I think Hagerty's values are in the ballpark. If a true #1 GT4 were to come to market, I don't think it would have a problem making 50, but I'm pretty sure a true #1 GT4 would not make it onto the open market. I think client #2 would seriously consider a red car in as nice of shape as yours.
Of course one could find a good red one then do a color change, maybe back to the original. How many were changed to red?

These are Euro cars not USA and you can not use them with out a big modification to the front of your car and if you can find any bumper As for the front spoiler I may be able to sell you one but I need to see the front of you 308 GT4 and they are only for series 1 cars ( the red one ) Euro and USA front under tray are very different Al
