    Ross,

why didn't you drive on the Autobahn...no speed limits?

I do the ski thing in the winter. A diversion when the Fcar is parked. It has been 2 days since driving the Fcar. Am in withdrawal as well.

Big dump of snow expected tonight and tomorrow. :)

Absent, what a nightmare. Cmon down to Texas. Deferred adjudication FTW. 113 in 65, get lawyer, go for deferred adjudication, 4 months suspended sentence (for additional violations ONLY in that county), $250 fine, never goes on record. $200 for lawyer. Just sayin.

    I would ,in a heartbeat.
My son is at Trinity University in San Antonio,he loves it there.
Unfortunately my business is service type and can not be moved, all clients are local hence the reason I am condemned to live here.

mark, i feel for you. hang in there. i got this ticket in 2012, which was a good thing, because the same ticket in 2013 is in fact 1 year in jail mandatory.

i will also have to keep my record clean for 5 years otherwise the next ticket is a 12 month ban.

going to have to do some more track days.

i have driven the autobahn, but this particular incident was not some search for speed - i was just on a drive in the mountains on a sunday afternoon, with nobody on the road, except me in the f40, and the cop.....31 mph over the limit. voila. how hard do you think it is to momentarily go 31mph over the limit in that car ? ;)
