That is exactly what I think happened as well. I think I posted it early on this thread after the overhead jpg of the area. Probably went through that turn hundreds of times in other cars from the shop.

It gets better, they each posted about it on their Instagram feeds as well which you can see below. Simply unbelievable behavior, especially from #2 here who blames "the system".

The roof panel they stole is a $10,000 part (unpainted) according to one source.

If the police have cleared the scene what is left behind is road debris. These guys followed the tow truck and swiped a part in transit to the crime lab as part of an active investigation. I hope the judge shows very little mercy.

That is what I also assumed, but look at the overhead view he was on the inside of the curve???? see post 386, on page 20.

Like the roofs are an important part of the investigation, Not condoning their action, but paparasis have impeaded more on stars and their lives, souvenirs are part of it all. A god lawyer will ask the DA to prove beyond any doubt the rof panels are from that car (or were not taken from the shop). As stated the stupid part was posting the stuff ( sorta reminds me of the guy that stole Sidney Crosby's Team Canada jersey back in '05, his daughter wore it to school and had it on facebook the next morning, guess what, the police cam a knockin' and the guy lost his job)

What ignorant trash those crooks are. That's the kind of scum that needs to be kept locked up. Must make their living by selling stolen property

According to CNN, only 35% of funds donated are actually used towards the purpose of the charity.

Lots of charities are run that way... Very few of them give more than 80 percent back. There are some but its a short list...

He has caught flak for dating a 16 year old when he was 33 at the time, but surprisingly the relationship has endured.

I really hope that's not true, and sure doesn't sound like something Paul would want.

All lawsuits like these do most of the time is prolong the saddness and anger the family has.

I received a call from a lady this week whose daughter was rear ended by our driver and pushed into on-coming traffic back in July. She informed me her daughter died in August as a result. The biggest shock to me, was this lady who was so kind said she hoped to one day meet with our insured in person so she could forgive him. This guy has called me a few times and until this week I had no idea what happened to this girl. I can't bring myself to call him and tell him that this girl died. He's 80 years old, and I'm afraid the news may shake him so badly he will die.

    Forgiveness is the key.

    Porsche might have liability.
Having also crashed a CGT sideway which also caught fire i will say 2 very troubling things. 1 the air bag went off a second after the crash, doing me no good. 2. The fuel pump stayed on while the fire crew was trying to put it out, and kept reigniting as the fuel and oil kept being pumped out.

Also from Bens crash years ago they were found liable for some tiny percentage.

Sadly stuff like this keeps manufactures from building real cars anymore and now everything is neutered with nanny devices that control everything for you and take any joy out of truly driving the car yourself.

I think you are incorrect regarding the previous court case . Porsche voluntarily paid a figure they estimated it would cost to defend the case . Sometimes its better to settle without prejudice .

I agree this is the final nail in the coffin of the drivers car
