    What is with the dash vent levers - Did someone go neanderthal and cut out a section to access them rather than go through the dash under side?

    Very interesting.... I didn't notice them until you mentioned it, especially since it is covered in a different material....

    I am betting it is something to do with the radio

    The dash in my GTS had an overlay like that although it was done so well it was hard to notice. I think the big radio wasn't properly supported and cracked the dash and the overlay was easier than pulling the dash and repairing the fiberglass. All fixed and reinforced now.
