H&R versus Fiorano Springs

    So, I am already tweaking my 355 after only owning it for less than a month. But Roebling Road DOES have an open track day at the end of January :)

    What is the group consensus regarding mixing the Fiorano Handling Pack Anti Roll Bar Upgrade Kit (from Superformance in the UK) with H&R springs? OR, should I just order the Fiorano springs with the upgrade kit (they are on the same page of their website).

    For what its worth. I have the full superformance kit fitted to one of my 355s. This includes the front and rear springs.
    Tbe only thing I had to do after fitting was adjust the ride hight. The old springs sag over the years and the new ones slightly higher fitted.

    I'd say Fiorano if you want stock or close to stock ride height, H&R if you want it lowered. I have the H&R springs on my car set to maximum ride height and rear set to match and it's as low as I dare drive it. The ride and handling are excellent, though.

    Does this 'thinner' shock mount area, affect only early cars and/or challenge cars? Was this corrected on later street models?

    You're welcome, Scott. Certainly my Challenge springs and Pete's H&R progressive springs took their toll. Anyone thinking of upgrading their springs on a 1994 or 1995 F355 should make this modification. As I mentioned, beginning with MY1996, the Factory made these changes.

    Good question! I need to check them, after the track day they were fine but I haven't been under there since checking then and have put around 3k street miles on them. I'll give it a once over this winter and see if they need further reinforcement.
