Huge fight just announced.........Machida vs. Mousasi on Feb. 8th. This one will be great! Armen, this is your boy's opportunity to put himself in title contention. He will have his work cut out for him though - Machida will be his biggest test yet.
VERY GOOD match up!^^ But Machida will be tough to beat. BUT Tonight.... Alvarez vs Chandler II. This one I've been waiting for, for a LONG time!!! I'm so excited!
My damned DVR stopped recording midway of the 4th round between Alvares and Chandler. Will have to find the last 2 rounds on the internet so I can finish watching. Was a great fight until that point......
Epic fight. Close call could have gone either way. Would love to see Alvarez take on some UFC talent one day. Two really game fighters Alvarez would not tap.
Free event tonight, UFC Fight Night 31: UFC Fight for the Troops 3, and then another one on Saturday, UFC Fight Night 32: Belfort vs. Henderson. Love it!
Didn't have a chance to watch preliminaries, which are on my DVR, but did watch the main card. Solid card! Every fight was great! Anyone else catch it?
Definitely a good card overall, very entertaining match ups. I was really glad to see Kennedy perform well and continue to improve his stock. With some refinement, Romero could be a beast. His hands looked VERY heavy. Even his short shots inside the clinch did pretty good damage. And he's HUGE for a 185 pounder. Mark

Can't wait for fights. Hope Hendricks pulls a Serra or at least showcase his wrestling skills. Rashad gets win but I dislike both fighters. Hope Lawler pulls upset.
Hendricks, I'm betting, is making a classic mistake of discounting GSP's wrestling abilities in MMA, knowing that he is, of course, much more highly decorated. I'm sure Koscheck had similar thoughts before they fought the 1st time. I think GSP will put Hendricks on his back, and Hendricks won't have a clue on what to do from there. GSP will then GnP him for the finish. GSP is my all-time favorite fighter, so of course I hope he wins. I just hope he gets the finish....... Rory/Lawler is a very intriguing matchup. I think Rory will havea pretty tough time. When Lawler is "on", he is as tough as they come. Rashad should get the win. I am curious to see who out-wrestles who.
It was an incredibly close fight, it really could have gone either way. When it is that close in a Championship fight, the nod has to go to the Champ. Just because GSP appeared to have more damage doesn't mean he lost. I believe statistically, he landed more strikes, and they were probably even on takedowns. An immediate rematch would make sense, but GSP 's head needs to be into it. By his post fight interview with Rogan, it clearly is not. I'd like to see him relinquish the belt, and go and take care of what he needs to. Once he is ready, give him an immediate title shot. I was impressed with Hendricks - the guy is a bull. How about Lawler? Beautiful win by him. Also, Tyrone's KO of Kos was quite impressive. I think he will be a force in the WW division.
Whatever. Hendricks was robbed any fight fan worth his salt knows it. GSP had no ground game, Big rig was teeing off on him and GSPs mug looked like a catchers mitt. Dana knows the fix was on. Have the fight outside of Vegas frickin crook judges. I feel so bad for Hendricks he will get his just due he exposed gsp like no other welterweight. This wasn't bs Serra lucky punch the 2nd round was annihilation.
Surprised by Lawler, surprised by Hendricks / GSP decision. Now GSP is taking time off? I love the guy, but maybe it's time to call it a career. He took a beating.
Watched the preliminaries last night. Man, Donald Cerrone is back in the house! He looked freaking awesome, as good or better than I have ever seen him. And Rick Story - that guy is a freaking machine! Never stopped pressing the action - one of the most aggressive fighters in the UFC. Ebersole is always the crafty veteran could not handle that pace and aggression, but certainly tried everything in his book. I want to see Story/Woodley go at it..... Leites looked amazing as well. Where was that Leites when he fought Anderson Silva?
Wow, what an impressive KO by Nate Diaz on Maynard! Solid performance. Fight of the night for me though was Niinimaki/Yahya. What a chess match on the ground. Beautiful display of grappling by both fighters.
Justin Scoggins looked awesome. Totally dominant, very active, great strikes, great takedowns, great positioning. Future of the UFC.
How about Hunt/Silva??? Instant classic! Here's what I don't understand; 5 round fight, 10-point must system, no round was a 2 pointer for either fighter, and there were no point deductions.......how did 2 judges score it 27 - 27??? Shogun looked like his formal self - nice to see him back. Boy, did Pat Barry ever get beat down. I've never seen a look of disgust like what was on Barry's face when the outcome was announced.......
