This is no surprise. Ferrari has been doing this for decades.

    Ok, did not know that.

Yes it is a car, but do you put your Ferrari through the carwash?
    I sure don't!

the remaining camo vinyl makes me think it's a mule, in which case it will never be owned by anyone, and besides it's a spray only touchless wash, just to get road dust off, not a big deal

I love all the Ferrari workers walking by who don't even give it a second look. They're so used to see the LaF that it's no big deal to them.

A few years ago the 5th Gear TV show researched into this matter. They found out that automatic car washes are harmless for the car and the second best way of cleaning a car, right after a professional detailing. The worst method was the classic bucket and sponge, as it accumulates grind that can harm the colour.

It just went through a robot made rain...what's the big deal? They probably tracked it, and it was just a simple washdown to get rid of debris

    On Ebay next week

2014 LaFerrari. Low mileage, one owner, "hybrid drive", no stories, only washed once -- but at the factory!

It's a touchless car wash. I don't see the issue.

Lol you guys crack me up :D
Offcourse it does not melt :)
Did not know it is only a spray wash.

    I don't use a sponge but a wash glove with 2 buckets.
This way most of the dirt is not in the glove.

The big issue is that when you hold it under some expensive light with a magnifying glass you can see some minuscule scratches that some guy with a paint thickness measuring gadget can get rid of for you for just £7000.

In other words, it's a non issue :D.

It's not car wash but leakage test. This tunnel simulates all forms of rain that can undergo the car, from the big storm to high pressure washing.
