I decided I needed an exotic car with a back seat, so I traded my 575 in on a new M5. The car is flawless and all services were just done in April 2013 by Braden. The previous owner is also an F chat member and was a meticulous steward of the car. I have no skin in the game whatsoever, just thought I would pass it on to the forum because they have now dropped the price from 99k, to 89k, to now 79k!!

Curious what did they give you in value on trade-in?

77k towards new M5. I realized this was way below the car's value, but I saved 8% of 77k in taxes which was an extra $6100 I didn't have to pay. I also figured it was worth it because I didn't have to deal with selling it, which is no easy task given that it is an 11 year old exotic and it's snowing in Denver. I posted because someone should jump on this. Car is perfect!

Andy, the car is perfect in every way, just like you said it was. I just needed a four door car--I still have young kids to schlepp to school.

Wow. I'm in the same place as the OP in that a 2 seat car has little use for me... But wow that's tempting! Glad it's not black or yellow,... that might've lured me in!

The car needs absolutely nothing. The last major was done in April 2012. Tires are brand new. I purchased and installed a Tubi exhaust when I got it, and it sounds amazing. If I had a four car garage, it would still be in there. If someone buys it, and wants them, I still have the stock mufflers in my basement. The car also comes with custom car cover, which I ordered (its red). It also comes with maintenance records for 8 years and original window sticker. Like I said--I have no skin in the game, just passing it along to the faithful. I will own another F car someday, but I suspect that day will be the day my kids leave for college. For now I will have to settle for my new 560 hp twin turbo M5. :)

Saw my first new gen M5 yesterday at my yacht club. Understated aggression. A work of art. Congrats.

Sadly for those of us who still own one, apparently $77K is not well below market value as the dealer has dropped the price to $80K and the car still sits.

Hate to think what my '03 with 35K+ miles on it is now worth. :(

I hear you. I am trying to sell my 03 575 to get into a 430 Challenge. I can't imagine going from a 200 mph 575 super car to a ho-hum BMW M5 is an upgrade. I apologize to BMW owners in advance. I had a chance to drive all the M series cars at the factory in SC. The only BMW that had a heartbeat was the M3 after pushing 40 buttons to turn off all the secret electric nannies. X5M was stupid fun for cutting across the track when the instructor was looking the other way.

Here is my 575 for sale. A 200 mph silver bullet.

I had been looking at a 456M, but if this 575M got down to the low $70's, I would probably jump on it.

I think that market will pay between 70-80k$, you will say that I talk BS cuz I compare US and European market but in Europe for 95k$ you can buy 2006 F430 with less than 20k milies, Ferrari is not good investment, value drop for cars like 575 is very similar to Sl 65AMG. Even if Ferrari will limited production under 7k that's will not help because never in history sportcars market was so crowded like now and soon there will be new players like Honda with new generation of NSX, Mclaren with P13 and rumors say that Maserati want to build car with central bestead engine.

I paid about CDN$75000 plus tax for my 2002 in Canada in September this year, though it was originally an American car. It had about 30000 miles on the odometer when purchased. Despite having I believe 3 previous owners, its in very good condition overall, with the interior virtually mint having no bubbling on the dashboard leather. The only 2 interior issues are that the rear speakers on the stereo are not working, and the carpeting behind the seats appears to be loose. Exterior wise one of the previous owners replaced the rear stop lights with smoked red versions, and the exhaust has been replaced with Tubis.
I hope this gives you a better idea about current pricing. Keep in mind that 30,000 miles though laughably low from my point of view, is considered high by many buyers and this directly affects the price. More recently in scouring the ads I find that lower mileage versions are selling anywhere from about the mid - US$90's up to the mid - US$120's for lower mileage examples than mine. I don't think a seller will have any problem selling one for about 70-80K$
