Not a single AC???? Ron's "green car" - never wrecked/restored/modified. Ron's "red car" with my Kirkham (polish body on american frame copied from the AC) Don't seem to have a photo of the Aceca, sorry. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Found a couple of older photos of the Riley and TC. It disturbed me enough that "clownish" micro-cars with half the displacement are auctioning-off for more than twice the money of a TC in similar physical condition, that I've decided to organize a TC symposium for the spring of 2015. The more TC owners get on-board of sorts, with sorting-out their cars to concours standards, it will elevate their values. (And) I tell you, it is much more jolly-good of a time driving a TC, than the other. The weekend-long TC gathering will be held in southern Central Florida. Hello everybody, my British cars are fairly unusual even by British standards.... here's my 1966 Bristol 409. The 1953 403 is still in pieces and being slowly reassembled. All the best from Italy, Stefano Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Beautiful car Stefano. So, when your 403 is finally restored you can say you have a lovely pair of Bristols
That's why I did buy the 2nd Bristol....like good Martinis, one would be too few, three too many ;-)))) Cheers Stefano
...and speaking of a nice pair of Bristols, I'm not sure if I can post this image on this Forum, though I scanned it from a 'family-type' magazine, and it is an ad for Longstone Tyres, so I'll put the link only here: Bristol 409 That's about Bristols, of course. ;-))) Cheers Stefano
Gorgeous house AND car! Is that your home? What style architecture is it? I really like the look of that, especially with an MG parked in front.
Thanks Nathan! It would have looked even better with the TC in front, instead of the A. The homeowner had an open-house this weekend, in a little town about a 30-minute drive north of where the A is stored. The architecture could be described as "Storybook" or "Hansel & Gretel." The architect was Sam Stoltz. Don't recall exactly how many of his houses remain (built in the '20s), but he utilized a lot of coquina stone and pecky cypress. I'm going to post more photos of the house in the Creative Arts section tomorrow night.

Beautiful Italia. What a great design that is. I'm guessing that you own #227 out of the what, 329 that were made. Do the Italias have different and distinct commission numbers then the TR3s?? I have a TR3A, pictured in post #145 of this thread.
I do indeed have Italia #227. Each Italia carries both: * a standard TR-3A/B commission plate; mine is TS 79336 LCO (1960) * "Vignale number" (die-stamped tag); first licensed in Switzerland (1961) Still a lot of debate about the number of cars built. #329 is the highest Vignale tag number (car) found to-date. However, seperate research documents only 304 TR3 chassis shipped to Italia for production. Yours is a very nice TR3, with great mods. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I love the Italia. One of my favorite cars ever. Yours is so beautiful. I've been thinking of doing a very sporting TR3 chassis set up and having Revington do a body for me.
