Didn't Ferrari at some point say they could fix a "totaled" Enzo for like 300k? It was one of the famous crashes though I don't remember exactly which one but remember it was heavily crashed. Couldn't this car be sent to classiche?

The Salvage F50 at Symbolic was on the market for far longer than a month. ;)

Sure, they'd be only too happy to oblige, and with a not inconsiderable sum could re-deliver a a "new" car.

Did all F50's come with the hardtop as well as the softtop?

Knowing how good the F50 sounds, I personally would have preferred some engine noise:

I'm always left wondering what the point of these videos is? With the time & expense put into them, perhaps some shared experiences of the Ferrari Supercars on some of England or Europe's fabulous roads & tracks would be more meaningful.

    F50?
    Does the F50 handle like a 355-360-430 or is it more a a Super-Cruiser?
These cars are so expensive I would be afraid to drive it period
Too many haters out there, Im sure it would get jacked up

At low speeds it handles like its on rails. At higher speeds the weight is more noticeable and it has quite a bit of understeer, like a GT car.

Ive sold this F50 more than once in the past, and although I have no affiliation with the auction, I dare say it represents a great opportunity.

Why do these guys buy them without driving them? Do they even have the intention of driving it? Or is it an investment they hope to flip and earn a small piece of change on?

You have both the guy who buys to make a quick buck and the one who buys but already has 10..20 or more cars and maybe 10h of free time per week during which he has to do all the things one does and drive 20+ cars.

Many who own these cars simply don't have the time that others have to drive them.

There is an F50 here which the owner hardly ever drove, he had it a collection of Ferrari's parked around an "island" in the middle of his house, on the island was a large bronze statue of Enzo Ferrari. Despite not driving the car he enjoyed having it there, he bought the car new.

The car was sold last year for around $1mil, at a guess I doubt it had more than 1500 miles under its wheels.

That is exactly the problem for many of them/us. When properly cared for, it isn't problematic.

This theme is a recurring one on all car forums. Just remember: High mileage is not always indicative that the car was abused, and low mileage is not always indicative that the car was properly maintained. :) Always be cautious. Look for well documented vehicles, and proper maintenance by reputable service shops.
