I am looking to organize a trip to the Park City area in Feb/March. Four advanced intermediate or Advanced skiers would be preferred. I have been there several times over the years so I am familiar with the offerings. If you have never skied the area there are eight resorts within a one hour drive of the Park City area and three in Park city with free bus transport to each. Rental of a car gives you access to eight resorts. Salt Lake City airport is 45 mins from Park City.It might be fun to have a FChat does Utah ski trip. Just starting the ball here. PM me if you are interested. Jon in Delaware

I'm in. I can't ski for crap, but I figure at that level it doesn't really matter...I can just hurl myself down the mountain and have about as good a chance of getting to the bottom unhurt as you guys do

By " that level" you mean 9090 feet of elevation. To the top we go!!! QUOTE=JoeZaff;142783595]I'm in. Wasatch Valley is the shiznits!!

But unless you've shed the twin-sticks and had a board strapped to your feet you haven't experienced the half of it!! LOL

I used to tear that place up!! I can't remember but one of the 3 Alto, Solitude or Snowbird doesn't allow boarding.... I think it is the one furthest up the rd. whichever one that is. Alto maybe.

That is all some serious serious above the tree-line so steep you don't have time to think just do it terrain. I don't know how much I'd want to take a not bona fide expert very far past the lodge there. I'm so old and on the wrong side of good shape now I wouldn't even try 90% of the stuff I used to do there. Never been anywhere else in Utah but Wasatch valley is very very nice indeed. Have fun. Be safe..... that place can hurt u quick

HaHa, The two resorts that shun Snowboarders are Alta and Deer Valley. The others Snowbird, Brighton, Snow Mass, Solitude, Powder mountain,Canyons,Park city, all welcome everyones money. It can be extreme.....but plenty of intermidiate skiing too. I love how close all of these resorts are to one another and the old town of Park city must have 40 great places to eat and drink. Great place for a ski week. Thanks.

I am heading out to park city this Wednesday 1/29 until Monday . If any of you f chatters are out there hit me up. Utah needs snow badly as does every resort due to the high pressure ridge over California . May have to make some trips to Steve Harris imports and other car related places.

I live for powder and steep and deep.

Alta was just sued by 4 snowboarders for descrimination on federally owned land . The only resorts in the USA that do not allow riders are alta, deer valley and mad river glen.

If any of you are out there please hit me up even to catch a drink on Main Street ill be watching the Super Bowl at the no name saloon

I was at Breckenridge last month and the conditions were great. I usually go to Park City every year with some guys but this year we're going to Jackson Hole.

About 6 the night before this was taken and about another 4 last night. This on top of about 14 from earlier in the week. Only downside is it's been a lot of "storm" skiing (lo viz/contrast) and it's going to get freakishly warm today.

    Just started snowing again now....
