Pic of one more delivered car at some F-dealer appeared on instagram. According to information I have there're 3 or 4 cars delivered right now to Italy, France and Switzerland. Image Unavailable, Please Login

Love it! I believe that the carbon mirrors are there for contrast with the other black/carbon things!
Pics were send to me, seems from Ferrari Magazine. So they're rolling from production line in full swing. The aesthetics have really grown on me. I wasn't too convinced originally. That full red and full black look fantastic.
So it seems like deliveries are beginning? I saw in another thread a future owner mentioned that only the cars without carbon roofs are being delivered right now. Do you know anything about that? When are the first US deliveries supposed to occur?
First cars with CF roof will be delivered around mid-spring, at least there was such rumor. US deliveries seems to start late spring or most likely summer.
In actual fact all cars have carbon roofs as the whole chassis is one piece. The issue with the roof finish is that the roof part of the chassis is made of a particular type of carbon (used only in F1) that does not look like carbon. So the roof needs to be painted or finished with a "classic" carbon weave. Obviously, the classic carbon weave is a more complex and time-consuming job so Ferrari are producing the painted versions first. Mine has a carbon weave roof finish and it has been postponed from a end nov/early December delivery to an April delivery. Deliveries have taken place already.
I was very surprised that the deliveries started as early as they did. Everything I had been told by my friends in the XX program and friends at the factory indicated that there were going to be no deliveries this year at all. They were wrong and I was misinformed. As far I know there aren't going to be any US deliveries until at least spring 2014, I received that information from the owner of Ferrari of SV but the last time I spoke with him was two months ago. So that information may be outdated, but as far as I know nothing will be in US customer hands until spring 2014.
Congrats on your car, April is not so far and you'll get the car right in hand for the start of the season. Sorry, I needed to add bare finish option of CF roof to my original statement not to cause misunderstanding, but thanks for very interesting information in any case. BTW, I have heard that Switzerland is behind only few biggest F-markets in terms of LaF allocation with around 40 cars coming there, any ideas if it's really so?
So much better looking in all red although I still think the nose is too weird and the back too tame/conventional
Understand the US is due to get 82 and yes Switzerland at least 40. We have one dealer who has an allocation of about 15 with a waiting list beyond that!! Deliveries are rolling
You are correct, deliveries shouldn't start in the US until technical training has been completed. Current schedule is Feb 3-8 and/or March 17-22 , at the Factory... Obviously, European training must have already been completed. Won't come soon enough! S
