Ferrari Powered Spice onboard from HSR's Daytona event. Was a lot of fun, this car is prep'd by Savannah Race Engineering. 328 stock motor and heads according to Wayne at Savannah. Tom Reese behind the wheel.

    Very cool.

    Is it the original transmission?

How about engine management, or what drives the tach and instrument display?

was that car originally run by the bieri racing guys? it was a camel light car in the day. amazing how that gto car passes it like it was not moving!

instrument display would seem an updated stack system.

I can ask Wayne where the telemetry comes from. Many of us in HSR use newer digital dash displays or traqmates. It was a camel lights car, but I will ask Wayne and Ted about the previous history. The porsche did go sailing by, but I would think that was a turbo car as it was shooting flames under braking. Good stuff :)

that car needs a 400 horsepower engine. Hate seeing it passed by GT cars. The blue Falcon is a 700 horsepower GT1 cae

But it would be so nice to drive. Anyone can go fast. A real gentleman on the track is a rarity. Otherwise he wouldn't be using a 328 engine.

    Thank you!
