Just made a really cool sign for my garage now that I have finished my car.

They should look really good once I put some LED lighting behind the panel.

    Hope you like.

Nice work Tony. Every Dino owner should have one of these in their garage.

If interested I can get more Perspex laser cut, assembly is the time consuming bit.

A bit of Perspex glue is all that's needed and some patience.

    Who's wants one?

OK OK I give in, i'll make some but cannot get hold of Santa to get them before Christmas

I agree Luigi, LEd is the way to go.

Side view shows how its constructed from laser cut Perspex, then glued onto the main backing. The dino script is cut into the main yellow backing with a raised silver edging.

Be careful...I believe originals were crated when shipped to protect the fragile plastic. My Ferrari Servizio sign was shipped from Italy crated. Can't even imagine what international (from UK) charges would be to the US.

Hi Ron / Fellow fchatters who have pm'd

The signs have been constructed from 4mm HD Perspex and are a lot more robust than the thermoplastic ones.

I can do these one of two ways, either flat pack kit form for you to assemble or pre assembled. Your choice, with a little care it is really easy to glue up the components which would be all pre cut so only glue is required.

Shipping cost to the USA would be APPROX £60 (flat pack) or around £95 assembled

Cost of the signs depend on size!! The one I made is around £250 + P&P

Thanks for clarification on material robustness.

    So for those who are GBP-USD currency conversion and metric challenged (including me), it translates into;

    Sign (400x210...or 15 3/4"x ~8") - ~$343
    Shipping unassembled - $82
    Shipping preassembled - $130

Tony, the sign looked bigger than that great looking fireplace. :)
Can you work up a reasonable price for a bigger one?

    Hi Guys
    Sorry for the delay
I have eventually got back a price to laser cut the bigger signs. The material content is pretty much the same for the bigger version as wastage was quite high on the small unit I made for myself, so luckily the price can be the same.

    Therefore 600 x 400 (24" x 16") approx. will be £250.00 + P&P

I will make a small batch for fellow dino fchat members only, this is a one off

delivery will be around 4-5 weeks

Let me know but I do need a min order to make it viable to buy in the Perspex.
