Time to move on. She's been a great car but I drive her maybe 3 times a year. Had this since 2008, there's an entire thread devoted to it here:

    http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/american-muscle/219656-whats-70-454-chevelle-re-creation-worth.html

She needs seat belts - I've been to quite a few swap meets but haven't found correct date coded belts. I did track down an original 1970 AM radio. It is mounted but needs to be hooked up. This is a tribute big block 454 car BTW.

I have the build sheet - thanks to that and a helpful FChatter, I was able to procure original dealership decals from the place it originated - Doublemont Chevy of Louisville, KY. This car was originally misty blue...it's now Cortez silver with black stripes. It's a serious head turner unlike anything else I've owned. She can be scary to drive if you are not careful. Bench seat, floor shift with a factory (what I believe to be original) vinyl top. 17" Torque Thrust II wheels. Original glass all the way around.

Numerous trophies and plaques - those come with the car.

Still has the factory original spiral wound shocks. 64,000 miles. I think I put 1,500 on it in 5 years. Lots of work done to make it appear a little more period correct.

She does have a few flaws here and there, but it's meant to be a driver, not a trailer queen. Vehicle is in Southwest Florida.

    $23,000 OBO

Great looking Chevelle. The A body cars have always been my favorite from this era, and the Chevelle is the best of the A bodies IMO.

Good looking car at a great price, GLWS

Nice Remix. Bring her over to Hooters. I'm heading there soon for a late business meeting.

Very nice car. I don't know a lot about these, but your level of detail with the car is superb. Fresh looking.

Thanks so much. I had a lot more time to do those things a few years ago...not so much now. Wish I had more time to drive her around.

Thank you, Jeff. I'd love to keep it - if it doesn't sell in the next few weeks, I'll likely keep it.

I am traveling constantly, and when I'm home it's all errands or working on music projects, so the Chevelle gets ignored. I am hoping someone will have more time to enjoy her.

Here's a short vid I did the day I got my GoPro last December. Not many angles but it gives another view of the vehicle.

One of my "bucket list" cars, hope she finds a good home.

PS, Most enthusiast can do without the music dub as we want to hear the car, just saying.

I don't think you really want 'date correct" seat belts??

They expire and that is one item you want to work properly, if needed.

    Beautiful car!
    Glws...

I said it once, I'll say it again. Great car at a great price.

Have you listed the car w/ auto trader classics? I’m a broker and I deal w/ some classic American cars and every one I've sold in the last 6 months has been via auto trader classics. I get a good amount of calls on every muscle car I list on there and so far, they've sold w/in a few weeks to a month. At that price I would imagine you'd get a lot of interest. GLWS

Extremely nice car. I am surprised it hasn't moved (especially at $21.5K)

Sold to a lucky FChatter (he can identify himself if he wants)! Enjoy your new car. Thanks everyone for your help.

So I need to think about what's next for the empty garage space...

Someone just got a killer Chevelle for a even better price if it was anywhere near the asking price. If I didnt have a '71 in my garage I'd be all over this bad boy. Congrats...

I am the lucky buyer of the Chevelle. It should hopefully arrive in New York within the next two weeks. I just hope that winter ends a bit early so I can actually drive it.

Kevin was great to deal with BTW. A nice painless transaction, I'd never sold a private party a car before, and he was super patient while I figured it out.

Enjoy the car - people simply go nuts when they see it. I hope you get to put more mileage on her than I did (1,800mi in 5-1/2 years).

Now I have to start thinking about my next car. :D
