I can never assess a design until I see it in person but it looks like they're trying to make it look more like its big brother.
These photos seem to show it better than the impression one gets from the video of the car on the Nurburgring. At the 'Ring it seemed to be too compact and pudgy. The photos show a more interesting interpretation of the Lambo idea. Could they be a bit "retouched?"
Well, officially its been released tomorrow so we'll see so what the new badboy is like. Private viewing for us is on 19th jan 2014
"The Hurc" seems to be a true looker. Much better looking than Gallardo. Way better looking than McLaren 12C. And it gives 458 a clue as to how to tackle some of its more awkward areas. I really like the mouth on the new Lambo and I think it would look great on the Speciale. In fact the Huracan is about as 'Ferrari' looking a Lamborghini I've ever seen. All the sharp points and angles seem to be hidden inside the silhouette. The profile is rather elegant and curvy. Not BIG curves mind you but certainly more shapely than Gallardo. Bravo Lambo! You almost make me forgive you for the hideously vulgar Veneno!
Snooze-a-rama It's not ugly. But, there's no inspiration here. It reminds me of the teams who design Lexus or Mercedes. All they do is try to slightly change one model from the next. I said it before and I repeat it. It's the most boring Lamborghini ever made visually. It advances nothing, which has been their hallmark. Every car since the Countach has been a variation of the Countach. This just happens to be the most laziest design of them all.
Ya know, that car looks better now than when I first saw it. Funny how you get used to things. Still don't like the front grill but the rest is pretty cool. Definitely borrowed, but also could be just by accident.
No official pricing has been announced. I'm #6 on the waiting list at my local dealer and am told to expect price close to 458.
Not a Lambo fan - but this car looks pretty great to me. Don't see fat either... seems like the front overhang is really growing these days... we are right back to Trans-Am dimensions it seems. Image Unavailable, Please Login
300+lbs lighter than G + DCT + 600+hp should be interesting??? I'm just waiting for the specs next week from my dealer.
this car to be consider as fast need to be faster than Mclaren, if it will be slower than 458 that will be disaster, soon Mclaren and Ferrari will build replacements of their cars
biggest difference in driving Gallardo vs 430 and 458 is steering feel. lambo is heavy and numb compared to agile Ferrari steering. might be due to awd but regardless, lambo needs to correct this
Yeah, I expect it somewhere between 458 and 458 speciale performance wise. Performance isn't the only important factor however.
