It's in the dash most likely since it's a giant screen. I actually think that's kind of dumb. Now the passenger can't use the nav/radio. Also, waaaay too many buttons on the center console.
Why is it "hating" to say you don't think it looks very interesting? I can never understand this. What you really mean is just shut up and agree with me. This car looks pretty much like every Lambo since 1972. It doesn't look a who lot different than the car it replaces. I suppose that was the idea but that's reality, not hate. What I do hate is the stupid red cover for the "starter" button. Is this Power Rangers? Does the car transform into a Jet Fighter?
Is it REALLY that much different? I admit it's better, but it's too much like what they've already done since 2004. Image Unavailable, Please Login
You can pretend it launches the missiles. Is there a guy tailing you around with a briefcase full of codes? LOL As for the styling, the 3/4 front view is the least flattering. It shows the body outline as somewhat pudgy and blobbish in a way that is not saved by all of the interest generated by the various edges, scoops, and gills, a Lamborghini trademark. Other views are more exciting, but overall it does not take the design to a new place, and we did not expect it to.
It's a good base. I do wonder what they'll do for mid-cycle refresh, since I cannot imagine they can make this V10 rev any higher. Maybe a new, bespoke engine is in the works?
I think that is the point. I think Lamborghini tries to make the look remain similar but new and refreshed.
It's true to what Lamborghini have been employing for the last decade...cockpit/aviation-inspired design and layout. The kid in me loves it... I also wonder where the nav/radio would be. something tells me the radio will alternate with the triple gauge digital display and the nav will take a section of the main digital tach. or there's a "see-through" hidden display right above the button controls on the column that show up once you start messing with the buttons. There seems to be a generous gap between the two main control areas for something like that. Not sure why ppl are "hating" on this while still "loving" the same exact setup in a 458. the irony.
The exterior is predictable, but the interior makes my eyes hurt!!! The specs are so and so.The 458 replacement will eat it alive...
they build lp720-4 50° anniversario, they can show a special version at any time, you never know with Lambo/Audi/WV, so we will see 458 successor in 2014?
I believe that the 458 raplacement will be unveiled either late 2014 or early 2015. Delieveries is a different story.
LOL, nice one. Surely you can say exactly the same about the 360 > 430 > 458 then? Not much change there since the 355 shape (which all looked ''exactly'' like a 308). These cars just look in a certain way in this era. Yup. Homage to Miura SV.
And why I say its BORING. We've been here done that for years. It's not bad looking. Its just a little better than the last one.
