This video is for my opinion laughable and childish! What have the makers of this film thinking?

Yeah, they will. Guarantee it's a success. Everywhere besides Fchat, people are saying they love it.

I would buy one if turbocharged engines in new generation of Ferraris will not excite me enough, however I'm almost sure that even turbocharged replacement of 458 will be generally much better car than Huracan but as a driver with weak skills I could not use fully what Ferrar offers

That video was painful to watch i.m.o. Lamborghini is obviously geared toward the younger generation. Just comes off as childish and immature to say the least.

And every other forum I visit...

I really is better received than I expected. I think it will sell very well. Aventador is in huge demand, and this will be too. Of course they will meet demand for this much easier, but still, big demand relatively speaking.

They should consider offering Huracan with Aventador's powerplant(kinda like Lambo-d V12 Vantage). Because Aventador is just too damn big to enjoy in traffic and on B roads.

Watched about 10 seconds of the video. How humiliating. Maybe Lamborghini are using the same advertising firm as McLaren are with the P1. ;)

The side view is very nicely done. Notice how the overall geometry of the car's shape is reflected in the smaller form defined by the roof and the aggressive body crease that runs over the door handle, enveloping the greenhouse. Unfortunately the 3/4-front view shows a pudgy, bulky form that seems contrived to mimic more than ever the head of a snorting bull with flared nostrils. IMO the view ends up looking peculiar, like a head without a body.

One should really cool down a turbo before shutting off, especially in hot weather or if you have had your foot in it.

Living in a cool climate as I do, ambient heat is not the problem and I don't track them or run them very hard very long. ;)

An oil temperature would be nice.

Maybe in the year 1998. Turbo cars today are just as good, if not better than NA cars in pretty much every respect except for sound.

Get ready for Ferraris with turbos. It's happening.

If Ferrari make the 458 replacement a turbo engine they will loose me a customer. Turbos suck the life out of an engine, leggy throttle response and an engine note that will euthanise your grandma. I hope they reserve their turbo development for their California replacement and save the mid engined car for us enthusiasts. You just have to drive a Macca to see what I mean.

This new gallardo looks ok, good enough for a stop gap between the 458 and the new model, but in my opinion nothing more than that from the first look. Look forward to seeing it, look forward to driving it and will be more than happy to be proved wrong. A lovely car, but not handsome in the way a 458 is. More aggressive and shouty. Im Not in love or even infatuated, simply interested.

can't make fun of the car, start making fun of the marketing. brilliance!

I can't relate to the ppl in the video, nor bothered, was just fixated on the car, smoke, donuts in "terrible" awd, fire spitting and drifting.

    Everything that matters basically.

I think that Ferrari want use new California to explore opinions from customers about turbocharged engines and how customers will evaluate new California will determine the future of 458 replacment

Lol at the haters in this thread. The car is ****ing stunning. Well done Lamborghini.

PS. TheMayor is my favorite character in this thread. Just keeps coming back over and over to tell us how disappointing and boring the car is. We believe you!

For my understanding Mayor's basic message is, there is not enough innovation in the design, Lamborghini missed the chance to invent something new. I share his opinion! Now be careful: we are not talking about "hate", we are talking about a missed opportunity.

IMO the Huracan will be tecnically an absolute great car, this is no question (and the approach, that I can choose between four-wheel drive and rear-wheel drive is really clever). I am convinced the car will make a lot of pressure to Ferrari, Mac and Porsche.

Whatever, a car with a new name provoke the expectation for a brand new design with new proportions and really new design elements.

In the Huracan I see just the Gallardo, thats not bad but it starts to be boring.

Lamborghini don't need invent anything new, Aventador sales are almost two times higher than Murcielago, Lambo is doing very well, they don't need to take a risk, they just need to continue what they started ten years ago

Just for the statistics, I announce that I´m joining the group of those who think that looks OK but boring. Just like most recent Lamborghinis.

Yet, as this is the bread and butter car for them I understand that they wouldn´t want to take silly risks. And more now that Lamborghini is starting to make money for the first time in decades. Actually, I think that it´s a little less boring than the old Gallardo.

+1 - From what I've read the Sport and Corsa settings will also adjust awd. I suspect that Corsa will transfer 100% power to rear wheels - my dealer is inquiring for me.

IMVHO you are either a Lambo buyer or a Ferrari buyer. Few have the ability or garage space to own both.

Sat in a Countach once. It was painful. The offset pedals. the cramped space. the lack of rear visibilty. It was a torture chamber.

Am sure it is better today but those memories do not endear me to the marque.

The new model would have been stunning 20 years ago. Today it is pretty ho-hum. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. No right or wrong.

    Best

I have a BMW with the twin turbo 6 that was developed in 2007, Yes there is less lag than years past, but warm weather still effects the turbos and how the car feels. A cool night the car feels like an animal and on a hot day can feel like a kitten and my car has 400 hp tuned, so it should never feel slow. I have heard abuot complaints about the McLaren and its turbo lag. The cars have improved but are still not perfect. N/A is what the 458 replacement will be I bet.
