Been buying Automobile Year at Xmas every year for as long as I can remember, don't seem to be any around this year.
    Is it still in business?

I hear it has closed up with some infighting over archives, etc. There is a pretty long article about it on the web somewhere, but I don't remember where.

It's a shame. It was a first class publication, but a deadly combination of demographics, publication costs, etc., apparently brought about its inevitable demise.

I have the first 35 volumes and would be interested in completing the set.

    Hi Jack,
Thanks for that. What a shame, I've been buying it for years and always enjoy reading it over the holidays.
Hopefully they'll find a way to get things sorted.

Strange that the Motorbooks website is unchanged and mentions the shop in Cecil Court even though it closed a couple of months ago.

I seen copies of the French edition of Automobile Year (L'Annee Automobile) so it is certainly still going).

I emailed Motorbooks and got a reply stating that they are taking preorders for it.
They expect delivery in the New year.

My apologies to all! I misread your original post as Automobile Quarterly.

I hope no one was unduly inconvenienced by my mistake.
