I've read or been told there were 100 or so Euro-spec QVs imported to NA back in the day. I've found a reference from the Ferrari Market Letter (actually, an old ad I found referenced the FML) but no other source. Anyone know for sure?

I aggressively searched the forum about this topic and enjoyed reading old threads and posts from current Euro QV owners, along with some nice pictures. In the interest of determining how many are still here, and having one simple reference thread, please reply if you have one (pic would be nice too) or had one and know of it's general whereabouts. I guess more than a few found their way back to Europe. No agenda here, just curious.

My story and some pics are here: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/308-328/405981-my-308-story.html

    Thanks and Happy New Year!

If this p-car falls through, I maybe looking at picking up another euro 308. Aircooled prices have gone mad in the last few years.

Anyone out there with a sorted out euro/row Gtb qv they would like to sell??

    Regards

    Mark,
my late 84 Euro QV #52703 was originally delivered to it's first owner in September 84 in Jersey, Channel Islands. I don't know when it was brought to Canada, but it was in Vancouver in 2001 when it was sold to an owner in Edmonton, then in 2007 to an owner in Calgary, then to me in Calgary this year. It's in original Euro spec, no conversions.

Gordon, thanks for sharing. I get up to Calgary occasionally. Always on the look out for a new Ferrari friend. Would like to meet you and your car some day. Cheers.

I wanted to go see this one - it sold fast @ $38K - *sigh*.... Has side markers, but retained its Euro bumpers.

I had two, a GTB QV and GTS QV euro. They are my fave and I will have another one day, fix it the way I want it, and keep the damn thing. My 328 does not check all the boxes. the QV is just "better" to me, than a 328. My next 308 is going to either have boxer paint, or I'll have the lower section painted boxer matte black. Love the look. I think 2 of BigTex's 3 cars are boxer paint cars. (carb cars)

LOL. Doesn't it look familiar? I put a deposit on it the day the ad came out and did a little better than $38K. The car was on consignment less than ten miles from my house. I'm not sure if you inquired about it but was told a Canadian was also interested. Sorry. You're welcome to come to Memphis anytime and we'll take it out. GreyTA (Patrick) has visited and enjoyed some good BBQ and a nice drive with me.

How come you sold them, especially the GTB? I would think that cars like those would be keepers through and through.

Keep 'em coming! Looks like we've already accounted for ten percent of the alleged 100 or so imported. Not a bad start.

My mechanic has pulled another 80lbs off her and you can feel every pound if there is no passenger. His 51857 lost about 200lbs.Im having oem mags and qa1 installed with stiff springs.Ive had Alfa and BMW M3 and Im having fun learning how to drive her, cruise, easy, pouring it on in the twisty's gets very busy.I am so glad I got the euro, the usa versions are just sick.

This 84 Euro (51221) sold in Panama City, FL earlier this summer. I was thinking about buying it too but the guy that test drove it before me jumped on it. Bought very well, I might add. Maybe the new owner will end up on fchat, if not already here. I think I can track him down.
