My 84 euro. I have loved every minute. It has been a labor of love. My friends just don't understand. I realize the garage is a little over the top. Oh we'll.

I bought her from a chatter and it was really a mess,ok,I guess if you know nothing.Ive dropped 10k on her,AC,electric,shocks,springs,tires,paint reardeck+,paint oem wheels,lots of fasteners,bumpers/paint/ rework/dynamat,wiper blades,red top battery,fuse box R&R,etc And its worth it.Pat

No way! I did inquire about the car, emailed, called, nearly drove there the minute I saw the ad! (I have daily Trovit/Autotrader/Kijiji/Ebay alerts) My dream 308 is a Euro QV red on black interior, and you were the lucky one to get it! (this summer I went to see a Euro '79 but it was too rough).. They did call me back, but to tell me that it was already sold *sigh*..

I'm glad to hear you did better than $38K. I keep hearing values are going up - but I keep seeing the "high value" cars still for sale after several years. No surprise you bought your EuroQV - it seems like a good deal..

meh, was offered more than i paid for them so I let them go.

I dont get why the 328 is touted as "better", but i do disagree. The QV, especially a euro car, is better to "ME" in terms of looks and feel.

I think the boxer painted cars are an homage to the whole 70's look. Always wanted one painted like that for some reason.

 

S/N 44907 '83 308QV. I've had it for over a year now and love it!

 

There is a lot I love about the 308 QV over the 328 as well. I wouldn't argue 328 vs 308 with anyone. Sorted cars vs sorted cars it's a wash for the most part, in terms of "better." After that it's personal preference.

The thing that kills the 328 for me is the terrible center console. I freaking LIKE the levers and bezels in the 308's, carb cars too.

The 328 console looks like a crappy 80's B Movie set piece, that I am afraid to touch too much, as its for looks only.

Fun car, the 328. But the Euro QV inside is pretty, and the outside is stunning.

There's an 83 red/tan euro (gts) for sale in Tulsa OK on Autotrader. Vin is 46056. It's the closest vin I've found to mine.

Hey KSA is just where I'm stationed...Wade (308Nut) knows the serial number. I have to brag at the Euro I got, newish paint job, only 20 something thousand miles, seems the only Federalizing was the marker lights and speedo, even the undercarriage looks new, and for only $27G, and can't wait for Wade to work his magic (and I'm in the States again to drive it LOL).
