the euro carb 308 thread got me thinking, how many euro carby 308s are there in the USA. I have one, SN 24081, 1978. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thanks Mark, Forza did a nice write up on it in '10. i meant to say how many EURO carb cars in the USA in the title - doh! can i change the title of this thrread? heres another tasty shot from the rear. Image Unavailable, Please Login
The car looks soooo much smoother with the small round euro indicators at the corners. The US really F'd up the look of these things. Can't wait to get the twins together!
you bet Mark- what a photo shoot, I got loads of snow in the driveway unfortunately. funny, I get mistaken for you out here because our cars look so much alike.
I also know of a black '76 GTB euro that was in Colorado, the owner sold it to out of state. l almost bought that car - but mine ran so much better, Forza did a writeup on that car also, it was modified nicely. I wonder if anyone on here has that car, it had a gto style body on it...sort of..
Off topic, but since we are on the subject of "euro" 308 model, why in the hell US has a different front bumper? Don't tell me it was due to DOT/SAE safety requirement. 308 is such a beautiful machine!
It was. The US bumper has support and shocks the Euro doesn't. That is one reason why you cannot simply change grills - or even cut them - to place the other lights down there like the Euros have. The shocks and mounts on the US bumpers are in the way.
